I want a merlin sequel series

Well. Either a flat out show or a TV movie. It’s gotta be set ten years after Arthur’s death. Angel and Colin headline it as Guinevere and Merlin, the title should be Guinevere and Merlin obviously, Angel should be credited first.

The plot I’m thinking of is. The last night in the tent left Gwen pregnant. Ten years later. She has a son called Arthur. Magic back in Camelot again. And Leon and Merlin are those two uncles who try to keep the prince out of trouble and end up battered and bruised for it. Think the Buttonss and Mindy skits from animaniacs except the boys don’t get punished for minor inconvenience.

I’m thinking there could be flashbacks to Arthur’s death and the state memorial service (because you know there’d have to be an official send off for the king). Guinevere riding into battle again at dissenter (she’s a warrior queen, fight me). Uncle Merlin teaching the young prince magic. There are so many ways this could go

I just want a follow up to the series cause it’s been so long and I think a little film or miniseries a about queen Guinevere Pendragon is exactly what should happen right now

you know in 2x13 of merlin when gwen is tending to arthur’s injuries in the hall and she says that he shouldn’t risk his life for her and he immediately is like ‘well i wasn’t going to let anything happen to you’ and it’s like this really quiet moment of tension because they’re surrounded by people and then he takes her hand under the guise of moving the cloth to a different wound so that he can hold her hand and comfort her even while they’re not alone…………………….. that’s tenderness
