Best kitchen tip my Grandma ever taught me
I keep veggie peelings, cuttings, herb clippings and all other veggie compost in a freezer bag in your freezer for up to a month. At the end of every month I dump this bag into my crockpot, add 6-8 cups of water and cook on low for 6 hours. I drain out the veggies and herbs, and viola! You have like 8 cups of veggie broth.
I save things from veggies like: celery, garlic, onion, carrots, kale, squash, parsnips, peppers, etc. Basically any vegetable that would go into a soup, I save.
I also save bits of herbs that don’t make it into other recipes, or veggies about to go bad I have no other intention for. It’s an amazing way to cut back on costs and food waste. This stock can make enough soup to feed a whole family, or you can freeze it if you are only feeding yourself and thaw as needed.
You can customize with herbs and spices now, or when you go to make your soups. I like to at least toss in garlic, onions, a bay leaf, pepper and rosemary to the broth itself.
I havent bought soup broth in years, and I can make sure my broth is salt free or at least low salt!
It’s such a simple thing to do, and its noticable in your food budget.

Shocking Party is a TsubaHono Song
So, reading the lyrics of Shocking Party. There’s a lot of implications in the lyrics on their own, but you can also fit into canon pretty decently too!
To get what’s obvious out of the way. Tsubasa is of course the centre, indicating she’s the main singer of the song. (She’s the centre of both A-Rise songs we’ve heard but regardless I feel this is important.) So, immediately it’s clear Tsubasa that the lyrics are coming from her.
What’s probably the most significant line is this. “ You’re the protagonist you know? “ Of course, Honoka is the protagonist of Love Live. So on a meta level it’s very clear that this could be about Honoka. In terms of the show though, it goes to show how Tsubasa views Honoka. She sees her as the main member of Muse. It’s consistently shown throughout Love Live that Honoka is the member of Muse that Tsubasa is most fixated on. While she likes the whole group and is interested in them all. Her sights are mainly set on Honoka. In her eyes, Honoka is the protagonist she is referencing here.
It’s also very, very important that Tsubasa sings this line, and attention is very specifically brought to it. Even in the anime! In the two lines leading up to this, Tsubasa sings, then Erena does, setting up Anju to sing the third line, that being this one. But instead. Tsubasa does it. Signifying the importance of Tsubasa singing this line. Then the anime represents this wonderfully, with one of my favourite shots in the entire show. (Although that may just be bias toward this song…)
(Ignore the slight translation difference with the subs there. Also it looks better animated alsjdshjd)
Speaking of the anime, Tsubasa winks a ridiculous amount throughout the song. And who’s in the audience as she’s doing it? Honoka. Of course this is a less serious piece of evidence, but its something I’d like to note.
A more minor line that evokes TsubaHono is this. “I want to know more, of this excessive life “, while less explicit, it presents Tsubasa’s curiousity about Honoka and her excessive personality.
As for a more explicit line. There’s this. While it’s not sung in the anime, it’s highly significant when it comes to TsubaHono in this song. “Shall we head on while fighting?” This of course represents a huge aspect of Tsubasa and Honoka. Their groups’ rivalries. This line could represent Tsubasa’s desire to keep up their friendly rivalry, but still heading forward on pursuing a relationship.
“My confidence shows my real intentions (Lonely passion) Leaving it to someone else is no good (Go, go! we had passion) My confidence shows my seriousness (Dangerous passion) Everyone else is unrelated to this you know? You understand?“
This whole part gives me major Tsubahono vibes too. Tsubasa, especially in her debut. Is presented as extremely confident. She’s also presented as having a good balance of friendliness and seriousness. Which I believe the “real intentions” and “seriousness” lines are meant to convey. As I mentioned before, she simultaneously wants to pursue a relationship with Honoka but also competition. Her confidence as well as these sides of her are very explicitly shown in the episode Shocking Party appears in too. “Leaving it to someone else is no good.” also ties into this, as Tsubasa really takes this to heart in this episode. She goes out there and basically sweeps Honoka off of her feet and taking her into UTX. Rather than leaving it to someone else, she took it upon herself to reach out to her and the rest of Muse. And the last line is the same as what I mentioned about Honoka being the protagonist. She’s Tsubasa’s central focus, everyone else is unrelated.
An extra thing, not exactly supporting TsubaHono but its gay. The song constantly mentions “Charming Venus.” So, that’s pretty gay, constantly referencing a charming Goddess of Beauty in a romantically themed song isn’t something you can explain heterosexually.
Anyhow, going back to fitting the song into canon. I haven’t spoken enough about that yet. Tsubasa has known about Muse since the end of Season One. And she’s clearly highly interested in Honoka by the time they meet in Season Two, Episode Three. So I don’t think it’s too unreasonable to assume she developed quite the crush on Honoka. And so she writes Shocking Party, a song dedicated to these feelings and where she wants to go with them. And then she goes out to meet Honoka and Muse, helping to bring the dream she had written a song about into reality. I’m not sure how well I’m explaining this, but I think it makes sense.
TLDR; Shocking Party is a Tsubahono song. It fits into canon with Tsubasa having a huge crush on Honoka and writing a big gay song in an attempt to win her over.

Color palette tutorial time!
This is by no means the Only Way To Pick Colors–it’s just a relatively-simple method I use sometimes. I’ve found it works pretty well, almost regardless of what colors you pick–as long as you can keep them organized by those light/dark warm/cool categories, and make sure one category takes up a significantly higher proportion of page space, it usually turns out pretty good!

REALLY IMPORTANT - NEW PAYPAL UPDATE - PLEASE READ
THIS NEEDS A HELLA SIGNAL BOOST - PLEASE SPREAD THIS UP
EVERYONE needs to start using Invoices. This is very important. Paypal has recently updated their TOS and it’s something that everyone should pay attention to. “10.3h If you violate the PayPal Acceptable Use Policy, … you will be liable to PayPal for the amount of PayPal’s damages caused by your violation … You acknowledge and agree that $2,500.00 USD per violation … is presently a reasonable minimum estimate of PayPal’s actual damages … PayPal may deduct such damages directly from any existing Balance in the offending Account or any other Account you control.” DO NOT SEND PAYMENTS AS “GIFTS” You will be risking your commissioners account and that is really really bad. Artists, REQUEST PAYMENT THROUGH INVOICES. It lets YOU control how money is sent. Commissioners, DO NOT SEND PAYMENT unless you send it through “for goods and services.” If your artist requests ‘send as gifts’ BEFORE you send payment, tell them about the $2,500 fine per violation, as they probably do not know about it. Yes, paypal fees suck, but it’s better to have a few dollars missing than to get fined $2,500 for a $20 purchase.
