Malcolm... and chot

You guys - I haven't seen anyone talk about this yet BUT...

We'll probably get to see Malcolm's descent into madness in chot.

Think about it! He seemed fairly sane in choi and cordial enough to Jesse in the first four chapters of chot (i.e. did not hate any and every Blackthorn with the force of a thousand suns). So clearly, something happened afterward that caused him to despise Blackthorns so much. Something that made him seek out the unseelie king and believe all his warlock friends were lying to him. I'm going to bet that we'll see some of that in chot, especially since he now knows about Annabel.

(slight spoilers ahead)

We can already see the beginning of his madness in the first four chapters of chot, like when he said he'd "wait as long as it takes" to bring Annabel back. And there's that one scene in the leaked pages where Lucie references Malcolm... (iykyk)

After everything he did in lady midnight and lord of shadows I don't have much sympathy left for him. But I can't wait to see his villain origin story

y'all the wait for chot is killing me 😭. I have *most* of the leaked pages but not the epilogue (is it out? I'm 99% sure it leaked...) But if anyone would be willing to dm the epilogue to me I would be so grateful. I will love you forever ❤️❤️
