I'm scared. US politics are scary right now, people keep saying 'both sides are bad' and I'm just like one is REALLY REALLY worse. Am I thrilled about Biden? No. But he is so much better than the alternative and right now it feels like the alternative is winning.
I don't know how to talk about this. I don't know how to be like 'please just vote for Biden because the alternative is them going after birth control. they already repealed roe vs wade. they are going after LGBT rights. women's rights. we are going to slide backwards and that's their POINT.'
I don't talk about this stuff. A minor disagreement with a friend over their thoughts on a show or book makes me sick to my stomach - let alone something as big as this. I feel dumb.
I'm scared. I'm scared for my friends. The dread is overwhelming and I don't know what to do.
