“I heard that you got too much on your plate as of late. With chores and such. I decided it’d be a better idea if I whisked you away for a night together. I have some food, a lot of games and some films that might interest you.” The man never talked too much but he did talk with people who he considered close. And Hina along with her family was exactly the type of people that he talked to much more than usual. He quipped, joked if needed, and acted much more normally around them. And now he showed the smaller female a bit of a smile, making sure to hold her as gently as possible.

Soon they arrived at his home, soon he finally placed her back on her feet, leaning down to plant a small kiss onto her temple. He wanted to be as affectionate as he possibly can be. And so he was. He wasn’t sure if they actually dated at this point, but it was clearly obvious for almost everyone that they did. He huffs, standing up to his full height again. “Well, let me show you the room in which everything will happen.” He hasn’t shown her his relaxing room yet. It was pretty neat.

the music was so lovely ---- the kind that was light   &   elegant   &   made you want to dance all night.  as a lady of house ashitaba,  she was well-versed in the art of ballroom dancing.   ❝  she most definitely would !  ❞   slender,  fair-skinned hand reached for her lover’s bigger one,   &   held him palm-to-palm  ( his was so warm )  .   ❝  follow my lead,   &   we’ll sync up just fine~  ❞   &   so she took the first few steps----

he was just minding his own business,   paying  little  attention to his surroundings  as he walked.  the only thing that dragged him out of it was the sound of someone talking  —  which led him to wonder if it was towards him,  after all,  there was no one else in the isle with them.

   looking towards the only other person there,  he asked before thinking whether or not she was talking to him  — which,  may have not been in his best interest. if she wasn’t,  that could have been  really ,  really  awkward.  there was a good chance that she had been talking on the phone … or even just thinking aloud,  truthfully it was incredibly unlikely that she was trying to spark up a conversation in the middle of a convenience store.

looking down at her,  it was pretty obvious that he put them both in a strange situation  &. he was beginning to regret speaking in the first place  —-  until she said she had been talking to him ??  oh.  ❝  ah  —  um,   what were you saying? my bad, i wasn’t really paying any attention.  ❞  he admitted sheepishly,   quickly changing his demeanor.  she didn’t look like someone he’d seen before  –  no,  he definitely didn’t know her.

oh . . . she should’ve been expecting that sort of reaction.  in the back of her mind,  some part of her thought that there’d be an off possibility of him simply ignoring her or even just shrugging it off  ( fat chance of that )  .  him responding just makes her spine go straight,  cold sweat forming upon her nape.  

fist goes up to her mouth   &   she fake coughs----   ❝  i mean,  it wasn’t that important in the first place----  ❞   what the hell ?  what kind of answer is that ? hina blinks,  flushes pink,   &   then starts gazing around at the shelves.  at least it was buying her some valuable time to rack her brain   &   actually think.

❝  aha----!  i mean,  i was just gonna ask if you knew where the . . . disposable razors are !  ❞   really,  that’s the best she could come up with ?   ❝  you know,  because i couldn’t find them----!  have you seen any ?~  ❞

Picks her up bridal style as he carries her away for a game night.

luckily,  her mom   &   little sister are at the store,  her aunt’s out drinking,   &   her other sister’s still at school for club.  the house is empty,   &   there’s no one to tease her about being whisked away to her neighbor’s  ( practically lover’s )  house next door.  if anyone had been present . . . well,  suffice to say he would’ve heard a MOUTHFUL from her.
