These women came to slay the catwalk, tell us their stories, and just have a good time. This stop was truly a blessing! We saw so many families and friends support each other. For the first time in Ashley Stewart history we had men come in and rip the runway! We love and support our local businesses and community leaders and make sure to always feature them. All my divas are winners no matter what! We should always support each other and show kindness to our neighbors! That is what a true Ashley Stewart diva is all about.

Finding Ashley Stewart 2018 Episode 1 | DON'T MESS WITH DALLAS, TEXAS

Divas! Didn't you hear?! I kicked off the Finding Ashley Stewart 2018 tour in none other than Dallas, Texas! You know what they say… Don’t mess with Texas. Check out Episode One of Finding Ashley Stewart 2018! 

I met so many of my divas and they were dressed head-to-toe in Ashley Stewart. The confidence, resilience, leadership, and kindness these ladies showed us was amazing! These women came to slay the catwalk, tell us their stories, and just have a good time. One of my favorite parts was getting the chance to support local businesses in Dallas from the PYnk Pit’s delicious BBQ to Tilly’s Kisses aka Tia Mann’s lip gloss company, it was an honor to truly be apart of the Dallas community. All the ladies who showed up and showed out were amazing! The sisterhood that day showed me that we are all winners. Let's make sure to keep supporting each other!

Meet My Dallas Top 3

Susan Curry is a professional plus size model, blogger, social media influencer and manager from a small town outside of Oklahoma City. Susan modeled for a short time at the age of 16 and then entered the traditional workforce while attending school in her 20s. She received her MBA in Business Management and works in the insurance field while studying for a PhD in business. In her spare time she's a fit model, participates in editorial work, and has experience runway modeling. Her hobbies include fashion blogging, studying new fashion trends, paddle boarding, going for walks by the ocean, and spending time with family and friends.

Lakeasha Shaw was born on April 21, 1981. She is a 36-year-old single mother of three, born and raised in Dallas. Lakeasha works for Humana pharmacy in mail order. She loves being in front of the camera and has a passion for fashion and everything that comes along with it. She truly loves her curves and all of her features. Her other interests include music and retail. She has a lot of excitement in her life and has never modeled before Finding Ashley Stewart.  

Kasey Cheyenne Little, 21, is from Dallas, TX where she lives with her parents and two brothers. She credits her mom as her rock and entire support system. Kasey’s mother always encourages her to be herself and to not let anyone get her down. Kasey is a junior at Texas State University and studies fashion merchandising and business administration. She aspires to pursue a career in product development or production management. Kasey loves music and in her spare time she enjoys singing. She promotes herself through fashion. Her motto is, “I am a curvy woman and clothes are my way to say, no matter how big or small, we can come together with the uniqueness of our style and how we rock it!”

In Honor of Martin Luther King Jr. Day

Every year on Martin Luther King Jr. Day we give back to local communities and organizations across the United States of America. We empower our stores during this time to give back. 

We visited Medgar Evers College to talk about MLK's legacy and women's empowerment. Last year, Ashley Stewart awarded scholarships to two Medgar Evers College students as part of the Finding Ashley Stewart Finale at Brooklyn's Kings Theatre. Alum Iyanla Vanzant joined us on September 16, 2017 to announce the winner and show her support for the movement. We are honored to announce that on September 15, 2018, we will be offering $10,000 in scholarships to Medgar Evers College! Thank you to Medgar Evers College for inviting us to the campus and allowing us to share your story!

Meet Ashley Stewart 2017 Theresa Larsen Royals!

On September 16th at the Brooklyn Kings Theatre, we had the honor of crowning Theresa Larsen Royals with the title of 'Ashley Stewart 2017'. She hails from the beautiful island of St. Thomas and through this platform she will bring attention to help those affected by the recent natural disasters. Theresa will also push forward our mission to put matters such as body positivity and self-confidence in the forefront of fashion!
