Struggle for Society

This line is quite insignificant but the double-meaning always fascinated me. Joseph and even mob tried to bind him in battle and it didn’t work. Serizawa himself tried to suppress and bind his own powers for 15 years and it made his life miserable. Then Touchirou came around and tried to bind him with Claw and himself for 3 years and Serizawa broke free in the end. 

Serizawa is right, whether it is his powers or his person, binding really doesn’t work on him.

Ok so I thought I would eventually just forget but I can't get this out of my head? For some reason even after watching the 7th episode like 3 times the part that always gets me is when reigen goes back to the bar and they shun him. I don't know why it just really hits me in a knowing spot. But see the thing is I for some reason convinced myself that when the bartender told reigen to leave, he called him reigen instead of arataka-chan like he does in the first bar scene? And it wasn't until the second time I watched the ep to make a post about it that I saw it didnt happen? I checked the manga to and it didn't happen there either???

I literally have no idea how I could have gotten something like that through my head. Wild.
