"I can't stand this place," Herobrine shuddered, rubbing his hands against his arms and looking around nervously.

Achilles insisted on returning to the woodland mansion.

"Just one night," they scribbled furiously into their book. "I promise, that's all I need..."

Herobrine shifted closer to them in his seat at the table, leaning his head on their shoulder.

"Do you have to...?" Achilles whined.

"You wouldn't get it." He grumbled back. "This place makes me feel... cold."

Achilles raised an eyebrow, leaning against him. The warmth they had become so accustomed to had faded. They sighed.

"You didn't... have to come."

"But it's dangerous, and you're..."

"Not mortal. Thanks to the likes of you," Achilles shot back. "Listen, I can handle myself. You can go to bed if it makes you feel better."

Herobrine wrapped his arms around their waist, squeezing them a little. "No. I don't want to."

Achilles' already rosy face flushed more. "Stop. I can't focus like this."

"Achi," Herobrine mumbled.

"Stop calling me that."

"Nobody's here," he replied. "Achi, I love you."

"Knock. It. Off." Achilles snapped the quill in their hand. "Damnit."

They turned to glare at him, their sharp gaze meeting his shockingly fearful eyes.

They settled down. He looked horrified. Without thinking they reached out and held his jaw in their hand, brushing their thumb over the corse hairs of his chin. They grabbed his ear and wiggled it playfully.

"Wait- Achilles, don't do that." He muttered.

"What, you don't like it?" They sneered, but he seemed more relaxed now, so they continued anyways.

Lightning struck outside, causing them both to jump as a downpour began and leaks in the ceiling fell through.

"AH!" Achilles yelped, scrambling to cover their work from the water. Herobrine just sat there, motionless and red-faced.

"That-that might've been too far, sorry." Achilles mumbled. Herobrine looked up in shock - that could have been the first time they'd ever apologized for anything.

"Hehe, but, I kinda like when you do that." His smile returned.

"Oh my god, you're so weird..." Achilles rolled their eyes as Herobrine stood up. But for some reason, neither of them started walking. They just stood there in the rain that poured through the rotting wood above. Staring.

"You know we could always pretend tonight never happened," Herobrine grinned awkwardly.

"Why are you looking at me like that." Achilles said flatly. "Wipe that stupid grin off your face. You drive me nuts." They leaned forward, Herobrine leaned away against the table.

"I know. That's the point." He tapped his fingers on the dark wood. "So are we gonna do this or not?"

Achilles glared at him. "Of course, idiot, I'm trying to figure out how-"

Herobrine grabbed the back of their head and pulled them forward into a kiss. One kiss turned into two, then five, and then Herobrine lost count - Achilles was keeping score.

The rain kept pouring and the table cracked, but neither of them knew how to stop. Achilles was on the tips of their toes, Herobrine's legs bent to accommodate the small size difference. When they finally broke away, neither of them could speak, only catch their breath and stare at the other. And then the table broke.

Random Achilles x Herobrine relationship facts below cut cuz i lowkey embarrassed a lil for strangers to read it

- The current timeline is that Achilles starts out being paranoid and aggressive towards Herobrine, and goes to like, worshiping him and being a freak about it but still being super annoyed and standoffish..

- Eventually the two of them reintegrate back into society after Herobrine makes up with Steve, but it's a very slow process for Steve's village to get over the fear mongering that was spreading for years about Hero...

- Achi and Hero get VERY close VERY fast but they do everything like, "backwards" in terms of intimacy. They just kind of end up in situations where Achilles weirdly trusts Herobrine enough to do something (lava bath with him was the specific one i was thinking, because that one happens first before anything else).

- I guess it becomes a little less toxic later on, when Achilles kind of gets over their past (they're still a cartographer as a hobby though) and it becomes reciprocal but always remains a... complicated pairing...

don't know if anyone cares but my minecraft movie fanart is gone for now. i saw some people on different opinions about it so just decided

it's better to not involve at all.

i don't follow Jack Black so i don't actually know anything about him. i kind of saw the fanart as a character though now acknowledging that it is representative of him.

but i thought it might be important to say I do stand with Palestine, although I haven't said much online until right now because idk. I do talk about it irl though. family doesn't really take it well :/ so anyways, ill try my best to share stuff that comes up (palestine but also other important things)
