Kid Radd's great, but yeah it does start off slowly and takes a while to get going and I can see it not being followed up on. Darths and Droids however is FANTASTIC, and the second on my list of June comics I hope Wak blogs fully (along with EGS and perhaps Bob and George >.>)

I'm not that familiar with Da Fuk's blog, what would be the deciding factor in whether she continues El Goonish Shive? Would it have to win a poll or something?

A lot of it is just based on what she's interested in, as that will make the most engaging liveblog. But if she did set up a poll for continuing old comics, it could win that and then she would continue reading the comic.

Yeah I'm not sure if you saw my reblog, but I do want to correct which book I said the Durkon commentary was on. Both quotes in my ask were from book 5, Blood Runs in the Family. Sorry if you already knew from my reblog, I just wanted to make sure.

Wrecan and Veldrina have origins involving things outside of the comic. Veldrina was created by a fan as part of a Kickstarter reward - 'have your character make a cameo.' When the character submitted turned out to be a divine caster, Burlew saw the opportunity to put her in as part of this plot. Wrecan was based on a member of the forums who ran a thread keeping count of how many times characters appeared. He passed away, and Burlew put him in the story as a tribute.

I’m going to block this ask for spoilers because divine casters being important to the plot might tip dafuk off (you never know with her) but you’ll be glad to know that this information got to her through the discord.
