(Background not mine! I'll draw one eventually. Probably.)Hi! I'm still sorting stuff out, please be patient while I try to get this to work. This is the official askblog for- well, me. Intro post
This is the official lore askblog for Epitaph! Here's some basic information - it'll in the third person, because although it is in fact me talking, it might be easier for others to keep track of what's going on like this.
Epitaph is a variant of uncorrupted Nightmare who continues to exist post-corruption. They don't remember much - whether it be about the Tree, their brother, or anything else, things are hazy and all they can recall are how things or people made them feel. (It doesn't help that they can't visualize anything in their mind, memories or otherwise; all they have to go off of is what they instinctively know.)
In the years after they.. resurrected? Re-awoke? Gained consciousness? Whatever the case, they've done their best to make a life of their own. Some things have changed, whether for better or for worse. Some things are so deeply ingrained that there's just no getting rid of them.

Questions are encouraged! Please generally try to keep them SFW. As of now, I have no idea whether I'll have the motivation to draw responses or if I'll just stick to text; it might vary from time to time.
I do my best to communicate well, and I'm not the kind of person to seek out conflict or arguments. If I'm asking a lot of questions myself or bringing up different points, it's never to be hostile - usually, I'm either genuinely curious or something's bugging me and I want to make a point. (Just wanted to put that out there; it is really, really hard to get the right tone through in text, and I'd much rather have a genuine conversation than make anyone upset.) If something comes across bad or if I genuinely say something wrong, please tell me directly! I won't get upset, I promise. There's a good chance I won't have known, and in that situation, I'll want more than anything to clear things up.
