So the uniform really is just "anything as long as it has a whitethorn tree crest"

It seems like as long as it's school colors and has the tree emblem, anything is free game.

Omar: 10/10 a speedy boi. he’ll pull something over you and get away with it

Lucas: 9/10 agile, goes as fast as you’d expect

Arin: 9/10 guardian powers gave them a good boost in speed and endurance. naturally, probably a 5/10

Rapunzel: 8/10 spent her life chasing after witches

Ezra: 7.5/10 big and built more for power, but is unexpectedly fast, and has to be

MMC: 7.5/10 goes running a lot

Darla: 7/10 dutifully does her cardio

Abel: 7/10 even bigger dude but still holds his own

Nora: 6/10 doesn’t often have a reason to run—why run when you can fly?—but probably has some spells to help in a pinch

FMC: 4/10 seldom wins Shakespeare tag (tbf it’s always against Arin), and not a huge fan of cardio. also, clumsy

Jo: 3/10 was in a coma :(

What are the mods favourite cgs?

Hey anon! We’re assuming you meant our favorites for each LI, so here are mine!

Nora:

Aside from being a callback to the tarot card at the beginning of the route, this cg is absolutely gorgeous. The contrasting warmth from the starlight and the cool night sky behind her makes her look like a goddess (which she is, to me)

Lucas:

Was torn between this one and his first cg, but the visceral emotional reaction I had when I saw this scene for the first time simply can’t be beat. Also something about the soft colors and the light shining down on him gives the image a sort of ethereal energy

Ezra:

This one’s all about the contrasts, the gold glint in Ezra’s eyes against the pale blue moonlight, the sharp glint of his claws against the tender embrace he holds around FMC, it perfectly encapsulates their dynamic and it’s just beautiful

Arin:

I am not ashamed to admit that this cg was my laptop wallpaper for at least two years. The colors, the lights, the look of absolute adoration in their eyes. What more can I say? It’s absolute perfection

Lavinia:

I had a few contenders I was torn between, but something about her first cg is so captivating. Maybe it’s the lighting, maybe it’s the poetry in a woman who’s lived through endless lifetimes being surrounded by death

Abel:

There’s an aura of warmth and gentleness in this cg that I wanted more of from his route. This moment feels like an embodiment of his character as a strong and loyal protector. Also I’m once again fawning over the lighting

Hi Lilia! We are overjoyed to hear that our blog has piqued your interest in the fandom. Ever After Academy was one of many series from an app called Lovestruck, a visual novel romance game with several stories with multiple characters that you could choose to romance (each with their own unique plots, arcs, tropes, and artwork). Unfortunately, the parent company pulled the plug on the app in 2022, but you can find recordings of all the routes on the YouTube channel LS Salvation Squad, and there are several fanmade projects in the works for some of the series on the app. Ever After Academy was a series released towards the latter end of the app’s run (which unfortunately means not all of the routes were finished), and it followed sister and brother protagonists who attended Whitethorn University, where they’d grown up. One night, they sneak into the campus’s library and find a secret entrance to a hidden ✨magical✨ library underneath the school, full of books of all sorts of fairytale characters. What they don’t know is that these books are portals, and when they open them, the subjects of the books were transported to their world! The MCs decide to pose their new friends as students at the university, and depending which of them you chose to romance, plenty of shenanigans ensue. I tried to keep this summary intentionally vague in case you wanted to avoid spoilers, but I would highly recommend checking out the routes on YouTube! Since you’re new to the story, I would recommend starting with one of the original 3 routes- Nora Le Fay or Ezra Wolf for the female MC, and Lucas Charming for the male MC- since they’ll ease you more into the lore. The second wave of love interests- Arin Langdon or Lavinia Le Guin for FMC and Abel Hawthorne for MMC- jump into things more quickly (they’re also all unfinished, but you can find the route summaries posted by the writers that we’ve reposted on this blog).

I know that was a lot, but if you scroll through our blog (or the fandom tag) you’ll find plenty more information. Now, to answer your questions (minor spoilers up ahead):

1. Ezra was raised by wolves, so he’d probably be able to connect quicker with animals. We see in Arin’s route that he’s good with a jabberwocky, so a dragon shouldn’t be much harder (Nora as a close second)

2. This was the hardest one, but we decided Omar Naddali (a recurring side character) would fair the best. He’s the owner of a magic lamp that has become in some way tethered to him, so even if he couldn’t wish himself out of the Void™️, he surely could conjure some things to keep him occupied

3. That would be Arin, they’re a TA at the university and the resident do-er of most tasks, such as watching over the library, so they’re definitely used to pulling a few all-nighters to get everything done

4. There’s plenty of lore to share, but I’ll leave you with this. The magic library is connected to a labyrinth of tunnels that run underneath Whitethorn. They’re mostly comprised of abandoning parts of the school, as Whitethorn has an unfortunate history of mysterious fires popping up. There are plenty of spirits haunting the halls, and the paths in the labyrinth are constantly changing to protect the secrets hidden within it. The best way to get around is to ask very nicely to go wherever you need to be.
