HIATUS

hey yall. i'm in college now. have been for a couple months.

so that i dont burn out, ive decided to take a break - regularly scheduled breaks. i will come back every so often, and i'll definitely be working on things in the background, but for now…

this blog will be in hiatus until Late December.

after christmas break ends, i will be back in hiatus until the next semester break, and so on until i finish college. i hope yall will have patience even as blog activity stops, and thank you for understanding.

Hi Mollie! You mentioned a few asks ago not being able to mimic Lloyd, because he does something with his voice you can't replicate. Is it possible you can't roll your R's?

Naw, I can mimic his speech patterns well enough - it's rrrrrreally something in his voice. Something in his timbre and pitch I just can't shake a feather at.

Me and Lloyd even asked Rambley about it - he pecked me as me every time! But he couldn't describe how besides something about the voice.

Hm? It's still about midday. The train ride to the isles was long, but it's not that long. I haven't even spent a whole day in here!

She also blew up on pixilart when I released her- the funniest part was both her and my Rambley Drawing got more love/attention than the Lloyd one ever did 💀 lmao, anyways shes so silly and fun to draw! Mollie, you describe having a feeling of restlessness. Do you know what happens it you feel restlees for too long? Like how you feel and the like?

Yeah, I know what happens if I feel restless for too long. I've figured out ways to relax without forcing myself, but it was pretty bad when I was a fledgeling.

It sometimes got bad enough that I started stress-plucking feathers! Honestly, I think those times were the reason my flock let me fly away so easily. Flock is supposed to stay together, but they didn't even fight me when I said I wanted to leave. It got that bad.

If I were to describe how it feels... it's kind of like an itch. Flying to the skies and beyond helps soothe it, but staying still makes it hurt.

I figured out ways to make it not hurt, but just scratching at it carelessly would just hurt me and make it worse. I'm not plucking at feathers anymore, but an itch is still an itch. Staying in one place forever is just not for me.

Technically, I live in Rambleberry Woods with Rambley! I spend most of my time roosting in Aviary Station, but a lot of my stuff is in Rambley's Cottage and he gets any mail that's sent to me!

Oh, I've absolutely gotten hurt on adventures before. I've gotten lucky enough to avoid major injuries this far into the flight, but chicken scratches and hard landings are common enough.

Ah, my researcher friends wanted me to investigate the Isles, maybe gather some rocks and such for study. See what the stars looked like from the Isles too, if I could.
