These are my favourite flowers, though I must say it is rather embarrassing to be given such a gift. Someone like me is not deserving of such blooms. I, um, shall have to purchase a vase to store them in. Indeed, it has been a long while since I saw flowers like these…

When does he not look tired? I will remind him to rest. It will most likely fall on deaf ears, so keep that in mind. Hubert is not the type of person to be distracted from work, even when he is on the brink of exhaustion.

There are two ways for me to interpret this.

If I interpret it one way, I have to say your offer sounds rather tempting. If you wish to inflict unspeakable suffering upon me, I would be lying if I said there wasn’t a part of me that is intrigued. Away from the battlefield, pain is hard to come by from other people. My pain tolerance is annoyingly high. I know what I deserve, and I know what I can endure.

But if I interpret it the other way, I will have to ask you to leave my area immediately before you wind up dead.

Um Jeritza this was sent to me by accident. Hands him some old sketch portraits of Jeritza and his mother and sister when he was younger. I only saw the top one and I think that you are ummcute in the picture. I recognized you in the picture and I wanted to give them to you.

... Where did you get these? Tell me at once. Did you steal them from Mercedes' room? There will be unimaginably unpleasant consequences if I find you were invading my sister's space. Answer carefully now.

Disregard all that you saw. These sketches... they illustrate a simpler time. I do not want to think about it, and I certainly don't want anyone else thinking about it.

Do you belive Flayn hates what you (or the Death Knight) did to her? Do you think there would ever be a chance to reconcile if she was still in Fodland after the war ends?

An interesting question.

I would not blame her if she hated me, or wanted me dead, or had any other negative feelings towards me. I barely remember what happened that day. There are a few blurry memories, but the Death Knight was the one who carried out the deeds. That doesn't excuse it, of course- I do not ever expect her to forgive me.

Truthfully, I doubt I will see Flayn again in my lifetime. I know she has apparently gone into hiding with Seteth. I suspect they will remain there for the foreseeable future. But if she did return to society, and if for some reason we found ourselves in the same room... I'm not too sure what would happen. She has every right to drive a dagger through my heart. I'm not sure if I would make an effort to stop her.

... Or not. Flayn was always known to be a kind and forgiving person. She knows the nature of the Agarthans, I'm sure she knows what extents they go to. Perhaps if she accepted that the Death Knight- that I- was just a pawn in their game, she might find it in herself to be... neutral with me. I would give her any apologies she wanted, like I did with Manuela. Whether she accepted them or not would be up to her.

One thing is certain though: her father would see me hanged if he still possessed any power. There will be no reconciliation with Seteth.

Jeritza look at this kitten. It has creamy white fur that’s similar to your hair color. She’s very friendly and playful. Consider her a gift from me to you. Ur that is if you would want her if not than I will find her a good home. I thought that you could use a furry little friend.

She is wonderful. Thank you for bringing her to me. I will cherish her with what little love exists in my heart, and I will break the bones of anyone who tries to harm her. Perhaps she will aid in quelling the waves of loneliness I am oh so familiar with. I will call her Morgawse.

I suppose I should say thank you. But I assure you that I do not need anyone to vent to. I perform at my best when I am alone in dealing with the demons that reside within. Perhaps most people need a shoulder to lean on, but not me. Keep that in mind.

Perhaps if the bodies upon Fodland's battlefields run dry, I will take my chances in another realm. I trust there are plenty of shadows for me to live in, in this world of Askr you mention.

The Death Knight is there already, you say? Hm. I hope he is not causing too much trouble. If I am not there to reign him back, I fear what he might do.

Ok I’m glad that she took care you when you needed it. So how do you think about Balthus Yuri and Hapi? Do you ever feel protective of Constance since she was a childhood friend of yours?

I harbour no ill will towards them. I think Balthus is a moron, but it is entertaining to brawl with him. Yuri is an admirable leader I suppose. I do not particularly care about Hapi, nor so I have negative feelings for her.

I suppose I do feel protective towards Constance in a nostalgic sense. I can't say I particularly enjoy her company nowadays, what with her being incredibly annoying and intrusive, but I would not let any harm come to her. I could not care less about her goal to revive her fallen House, but I wish her well.
