He flinched at the sternness of Seishi’s voice. It reminded him a little of when he would be scolded by one of the staff working on whatever set he had to go on. After the initial shock, he gave a sigh and muttered a half-hearted apology. It was the best he could do in his state. As he heard what Shiori said, he gave a small nod, and spoke back in a quieter voice.

K:..I’ll try to sleep a little, just a small nap...

He knew it was for the best, for the three of them, but it was still surprisingly hard to say. It wasn’t too big of a goal, but it still made him feel nervous over it, seeing how he would probably be more prone to nightmares. He knew the two siblings needed to have a conversation over what happened, so it would be the best way to let them have that.

K: Seishi? Is everything okay..?

He doesn’t answer. Suddenly, his whole body twitches, as if he’s been slapped. He lets out a cry and stumbles backward, letting go of Shiori’s hands. 

“M-ma’am, I-I’m sorry! I’m sorry, I’m sorry, I’m s-sorry, i-it’s j-just…” 

“S-she’s my s-sister…! S-she’s all I h-have…! P-please, can’t you let me…” 

“K-Koga-kun…y-you’re here…” 

“H-he’s barely…responsive…th-things are pretty bad…” 

Shiori lingers near her brother, clearly unsure of what she should do to help him. Seishi’s whole body suddenly slumps, as if he’s given in. Given into what, it isn’t certain. He drops to his knees and bows his head. 

“N-no, ma’am…y-you’re right…I-I have you, I only need you, I-I’m s-sorry, I shouldn’t have…” 

He glances helplessly back at Shiori, like he wishes she were there to help him. Shiori takes a few steps toward him, but he merely flinches harshly as though he’s been struck again, and turns back to the invisible figure.

He nervously rubbed his hands, well, his puppets together. He probably didn’t realize what he was doing. He was tired, and part of him wanted to sleep, but the other half didn’t want to risk a nightmare that could be even worse, due to sleep-loss. He thought the best choice of action would be to change the subject, trying to get their attention off of his exhaustion. K: I think the discs with the episodes should be somewhere close...I should be back to get them.
