Watching his lover get up -without dragging him with- was always interesting to watch. He knew why Itachi got up that way and he knew all too well what happened if he hurried. So, most of the time he was the first one up. Allowing the other to follow suit in a more normal manner. Deidara is there to keep accidents from happening. That was his main job most of the time. On the road and in their room. Though he takes the hand offered.

A bubble bath? That didn't sound to awful. It also sounded like a pleaent experience after such a hot day. They get cleaned up, less sticky, cool off, and then get the he'll out of this desert once nightfall hits. He will fly them out if he has too. He allows itachi to lead him too the bath room. deidara directs Itachi to sit down first while he gets the bath water ready. Finding luke warm to be the coldest setting and starting to fill the bath. Then moves over to strip to bath.

Before heading over to hos loves aid he looks for the little bottles they had around. They had bath salts, bath lotion he is throwing that in, bath bombs,and last the bubbles. He adds all but the salt into the slowly filling tub

"Would you like me to help you out of your clothes too, yeah?" He asks filling up two buckets of water and grabbing the soap. They had to wash themselves before soaking or they would be soaking in their own filth. That was not an idea hie liked. Besides he offered a message. He can give one while washing Itachi's back.

It felt good, the nails pulling away the clinging strands of hair from to side of his face. Slicking it back to cling to the dry strands leaving his face fully revealed. Something very few have seen and lived to remember. Either killed by his bombs or Itachi's whims. So it's a view that can only be viewed for long periods by his lover.

The words that holds promises of no sleep and another days stay. At least it won't be as troublesome as the day after a full moon. His beautiful lover could be very clingy and needy sometimes. Yet, that was also one of the endearing qualities that Deidara craved more then the violence. Still, cuddling, sweat, and a sticky mess is going to be the aftermath cone morning. Even drunk he knows how much of a hassle that is going to be.

He pushes himself up with a miffed expression that he focuses on tge older man next to him. Knowing fully that the raven haired man would not take no for an answer. Even so he has to offer him something, that hopefully will not come with the pretty teasing that has him folding in seconds. Itachi knows all the right things to say and do to manipulate him into taking part in his more spicy whims. He curses under his breath.

"A nice message, un?" He tries, testing how little he might be able to get away with. His hands can work magic in more the a few ways, one is working out knots.

"Or, would to rather me bath you in sensations, yeah?" Untimely the path he would rather not take. Yet that would be the best way to make it up.

He should get up and leave, but Itachi despite being his ex was the least insufferable one. It was either death threats from the younger brother or suggestive advice from the best friend. Izumi was okay, but she was currently chatting away with some of the other female staff members. Deidara saw them around but didn't know them by name. So he chose to stay. Even if being so close was awkward.

"Bad?" What his questioning remark. It could be that bad, could it? He should tell him not to say anything. That Itachi was drunk and this was just one of those call your exes things. Only they were in the same room and stuck in a tense situation. Alcohol impairing their judgment doesn't help in any way, shape, or form. Still, now curiosity was eating at him.

"What secret could be so bad that you don't normally tell someone, yeah?" He presses on. More than likely will hate himself if he doesn't like it. Though he convinces himself that it can't be as bad as Itachi thinks it is, right? So he stays where he is at waiting for the secret Iachi wanted to share with him.

ㅤThis was a terrible idea, even Itachi himself could tell. Epic terrible. Legendary terrible. He should not be anywhere close to his ex after drinking so much, let alone sharing a same couch. And yet here they were and, to be completely honest, he did not want to move away at all. He knew he should, but he didn't want to. And in the end, unsurprisingly, heart won over brain.

ㅤNot to mention, there was the whole topic that he wanted to talk about to begin with. Basically burning at the tip of his tongue. Everyone else was busy either having a drinking contest or sending poorly worded texts or crying with laughter over whatever was on TV at the moment - which meant he really only had Deidara to confide in. And, again, not that he was complaining. Shame and regrets would come in the morning, most likely.

ㅤ«It's-» A momentary pause and a sheepish pursing of his lips, hesitating; inhibitions lowered enough that his expressions were more on display and more genuine than usual. Itachi really looked like he was about to share the date for the end of the world. «You're gonna judge me... 'cause it's a bad secret.» Emphasis on the 'bad', voice softly slurred.

It was an after-concert party. Something they did after a concert. Kick back listening to music that wasn't their own. Having a few beers. Most staff were invited to join in the fun. He had moved over to the couch to check his phone. He didn't look up until he felt the couch dip next to him and Itachi spoke to him.

He had figured Itachi drank a little too much since the slip-up at the end was something a little out of character. He sets his phone and beer down in front of him giving his ex his undivided attention. If he wanted to tell him a secret he won't stop him, he also isn't someone who will blab about it either.

"You can tell me, un." He says looking at his ex curiously. What's this secret that no one knows?

That's probably because it's frowned upon. Doesn't mean people care and will do it just because they want to, yeah.

When I was a kid there was this stray cat that would sometimes get inside when it was super cold or raining. One time she decided to have kittens on my bed and I was super excited she had chosen me.

I watched the whole thing. Offered praise and support. Comfort. Three babies. That she promptly began eating right after birth.

Nature is both beautiful and cruel. As is everything in it.
