Hey Mods! How you guys dealing with everything that’s been going on? I hope it’s at least a little gucci lol

If you’re really curious about me (Mod Aj), I’m always updating on my main blog (@ookamihanta) and all my other social media under the same username. Thanks for always checking up on us (:  Mod Ninjer doesn’t use tumblr as much anymore, but if they see this, I’m sure they’ll drop some of the sites their more active on too.

I was just thinking about this and honestly, any and all work i have isn’t completed and is on my personal laptop, untransferred. I was super sickfor months and am still recovering slowly but surely though not exactly back to normal, so i wasn’t able to draw for long without feelin trash. My personal laptop is windows 8 and doesn’t have more brightness settings on it, so using it is a pukefest and gives me headaches. Thus all my sai files be on hiatus, and all drawing i do now is on MS PAINT, which takes much longer (maybe 3-5 times longer, depends). Maybe one day i’ll pick things back up when i’m confident enough in my abilities again. - Thanks for checking in! ~MOD NINJER

Tag Update:

Hey guys, mod Ninjer here! Just wanted to let ya’ll know I’m giving a minor but fairly relative update to my tags. All current and future ask-posts have been updated accordingly. These changes are based on the tones of Asks i choose to post. The following changes include key words such as:

“Light”, *“Neutral”, “Heavy”.

What this means is that i’m organizing the tone and intensity of the ask depending on how “heart clenching/graphic” they are. That way, if you feel in the mood for something specific, you can refer to the tag and have them filtered out. (* Neutral will be used if fitting, but It’s a bit of a wildcard in comparison to the other two, who’s implication of tone is much more obvious, so it may vary)   Format: “ Ninjer: *insert variable here* ” _ EX: “ninjer: light” This change does not apply to Mod AJ, as AJ’s asks are more consistent, at least for now. If a major change happens, I may consider implementing this small tweak on Aj’s asks as well. Thanks for reading! *Mod Niner -

Oh it’s like.. uh.. When a person or an anonymous person does something to the character that’s being told or asked to do something. For example: someone says something like “__[Character’s name here]__ is a kid for 4 days” or something like that. That’s just an example. It can be less, it can be for longer. It doesn’t really matter. This is all I could pretty much think of how it goes. There are other ways it could go as well but this was just at the top of my head. 1/2

Hmm, that sounds like roleplay or a prompt. We don’t do roleplay, other than us mods giving an interpretation of the character(s) in a sent ask of our choosing. That would be as far as it gets, if i’m assessing the example correctly.I, mod Ninjer, personally like flowing with a plot/development. I like consistency.Mod Aj also does this, but in a different manner, with different storytelling style.However we both have some plot involved at all times because of our setup, So this seems like it would break form with the flow/theme running. It sounds more suitable for a different type of blog. but thanks for telling us what it was!I had no idea that’s what it was called or that it had a name.-*Mod ninjer~

To both of the mods, I love how you put your comments in the tags as a sort of extended answer and how recently you have been like "I didn't mean to put in this much effort BUT I DID"

HOLY SHIT that was me lmao. Kinda helps to break the fourth wall a little. Sometimes, it be like that. But the extra work pays off so it’s worth it. Just depends on the vision. Different methods of storytelling and atmosphere Take its time, but can be satisfying af!We thank you so much :D! Happy to know you enjoy the tags as much as the rest of the blog.
