Her mother senses are tingling.

"... I see." She agreed through a tight-lipped smile. How well is 'well enough'? To her that was eating the appropriate amount of meals everyday, getting a good rest every night and taking breaks when needed -- even though that last one was something she, herself, failed to comply with every now and then. How much did his definition of 'well enough' differ to hers, she wondered.

Mentally, she exhaled. Chikako-san was far better with this kind of stuff -- reaching out to others and the like -- than she was. She didn't want to pry but she also didn't want her friend to struggle.

"We-well..! Know that if you ever need anything. You can always rely on me to help..!"

"Kujou-san, it's been a while. How have you been?" (@ask-shsl-scribe )

"If it's for the sake of your well-being, then I would it hard to disagree. And, considering that he is your best friend, I can assume that he has your best interest in mind."

Her fingers prattled at the side of her cup, looking back at the reflection that the cast into the tea. His avoidance with worrying, slightly. To her, the thought that someone would avoid doing something that would improve their health was a silly one, especially if the choice was readily available. But things.. aren't as cut and dry 'out' on Earth as it is in her dome; that was something she was steadily starting to realize overtime.

"... I hope you're taking care of yourself, Kujou-kun."

"Scolding you for the right reasons, I hope."

She grinned. It was nice to hear that the two had been doing well. She hadn't had a chance to talk to Mr. Kurosaki outside of their initial meeting but had wished the best for him as she did with Botan.

"Ri-Right.." With a deep breath and a sip of her tea, she took a moment to calm down. He had a point and, really, there was nothing wrong with caring for a friend. And she cared about her friends plenty. Not as to say she didn't expect the same, but well, maybe she shouldn't be thinking too much into it.

"But, that aside, how have you been over the time? Oh, and your friend, Masao was it? I hope the two of you have been well."

"Oh, no you don't have to do that.! My society has well educated physicians and facilitators that take care of us. No-Not that I'm saying that you're not well educated or anything.!"

She quickly waved her hand, trying to makeup for what she said to avoid being misinterpreted. Though she was still very particular about her diet, as per the rules, there were a select two she was okay accepting food from. The first was Chikako-san, of course, and the other was Botan. "I just don't want to trouble you with my health. I'm fine. Though I appreciate the offer."

"...." She cleared her throat.

"Sick, for the most part. The drastic difference in climate in my home versus on Earth, as well as the usual stresses from my duties, has left me ill for a while. I'm fine now, though."

She nodded. Though there wasn't much of a worry that he wouldn't be understanding of it all, hearing it from him put her at ease. Alestria took a sip of her tea.

"Thank you. For understanding and for the tea. It's really good."

She thanks him for the tea before taking a sip of it. "I apologize that it took me so long to reach out to you like this. There was always something that kept me from doing so."

She nodded with a smile. "I'd love some, thank you."

"I've been doing pretty well, myself.! I hope this isn't too sudden. It has been a while, so I was wondering if you'd like to catch up if you're not busy."

Did you get sick?

"Tr14, you know you're supposed to be resting."

Her facilitator, Dr. Iori, entered the room with a huff. Right when she was finally resting, another fit of "I have so things to do" crosses her mind like an animal with zoomies. It was "adorable" if you didn't count the fact that her constant list of things to do was the reason why she had gotten sick in the first place.

"I was, though! I would never go against your orders, Dr. Iori!"

That, too, made him sigh. And why does she always insist on calling them "orders"..?

What have you been up to Alestria?

"Huh?"

Alestria rose from her bed, the wet towel that had been drapped over her forehead falling into her lap with a resounding 'shplat!' She looked down at the mess it made of her covers and childishly whined in defeat. The noise seemed to have alerted whoever else was in her shared home because, not even a moment after, was there a soft knock at the door.

"Tr14? Are you alright?"

She looked off toward the door before nodding. "I'm okay, Dr.Iori! The towel fell off, though.."

What will you teach Ichi Peachy?

"Just the fundamentals. Areas to strike for and how to pull herself out of any sticky situations. Being able to separate yourself from your attacker is an important aspect of self-defense. Give yourself distance to work with so they have more room for errors. Oh, and I want to make sure she's able to put force into punches and kicks. If not, then that's something I want to work on first."

"On the note of self defense, do remember that, if you're being attacked, don't call for "help!" People are less likely to respond to that. Instead call out "Fire!" or "They have a gun!" That is absolutely going to catch attention more quickly. Especially that second one!"

"And what kind of style would that be? If you don't mind sharing with the class. I haven't been in America in a good minute, so I'm a bit curious to know what all they've been teaching out there."

Not 'flexible enough' for any of the acrobatic arts but just enough to keep himself safe. From the vague descriptions he gave himself, she wanted to gauge something simple like boxing or maybe even MMA (she remembered those being pretty popular in America).

Chikako chuckled as she watched Lily set off on her little mission. She would have preferred that she was within sight -- to keep a watchful eye on her -- but what can you do, she was already long gone. Knowing Lily, she should be able to find her way back. And, if not, Ichi was tracking her phone.

"You're alright! I didn't think she'd like just sitting around here or playing by herself on the swings. Kiyo-Hime's the same way. She just chooses to directly bother people when she gets bored. Plus, I wasn't lying about needing the photos. Uzehara-chan loves nature pictures."

She held out a hand to Ichi. No explanation, no instruction, just seeing what she'd do with the simple gesture.

Well..

Ichi certainly had a point. The only thing worse than one little goblin wreaking havoc would be another; she certainly had a duo who fit that bill perfectly. But would she be outwardly siding with her on that? Hmm.. Not right now. As long as the two weren't hurting anyone or breaking any laws, then they were fine.

"Making big numbers on calculators can be fun. But I think this will be much better!"

Once the three had found themselves nestled in the pavilion shade, she set Lily back down onto her feet; standing tall and mighty on one of the many benches that scattered the area.

"Okay.! Do you remember Akashi, my little butler son? Well, he has a lady friend that really really enjoys the outdoors like you do! So whenever I'm out like this, I try to get as many pictures as I can of the stuff I know she likes. And since I'm gonna be busy with your sister..!"

She held out her phone to Lily, the small icons to both the notes app and the camera sitting right besides one another for easy access.

"Do you mind going around and taking the pictures for me? I have a big list of stuff around here you can take pictures of. You can take pictures of anything, but if you complete the list, then I'll treat you both to some ice cream when I have the time. How does that sound?"

What's with kids these days. You go weeks to months without speaking to one another but the next time they see you they immediately start asking for things out of you. Without even so much as a simple little 'hi' or 'how are you' or 'I missed you!". The nerve of these young-ins.

"Yes, I've been great myself, the kiddos haven't been giving me too much trouble as of recent but, as always, it's nothing that I can't handle. And, yes, it has been a while since I've last seen you, I hope you and little Lily been doing well yourself! And, yes, I missed you both too.!"

Let it be known that despite how many octaves her voice climbed with every complaint, she was just that much more relieved to see the analytic. Really, thought, was it that crippling to at least give a call once in a while. That way she knows that she didn't just completely keel over at home?
