Winter Holidays Party!

What a wonderful event! My team of chefs outdid themselves with the food, the company was brilliant, and the beautiful fireworks that were the main event of the night went off without a single hitch.

I want to say thank you to all my guests for making this such a magical evening and hope you all had a lovely time too.

( Very glad to see another friendly face and askblog around here too! Unfortunately, I've also sort of fallen into dead-ness after a Big Life Event + some lostness, but hopefully that will be remedied in the coming weeks.

To access it on the desktop version of the blog, bring your cursor over to the sidebar on the left and click the black bar that says ‘Navigation’ !

To access it on the mobile version of the blog, it should be in the same place as the ask and submit buttons. Farther to the right, there should be a button that says ‘Characters’ !

( trying to get into the swing of drawing more things! I realized that I had to figure out *a* reference someday to get a better idea of what Karis wears and generally looks like, so here’s one of him in his standard exploring outfit. It’s a bit of a reinterpretation of some Aegi clothes that you can get at character creation.

i’ll probably be setting up a page after this with some general and uncovered info about him. And then after that, some teaser images of future characters… )

the two types of starbound community are either nonexistent or mean i guess :(

theres a handful of starbound bloggers here which i like, but reddit is practically dead and the discord im in seems. mean. i just want to talk about starbound with people 🥺🥺🥺

I like prepping stuff for the holidays super early, and I had a grand idea for this year's build -- a big party!

But it's going to look really lame if Mio is the only one there, and since I feel we've grown as a community:

I'd like to invite your OCs to a Winter Holiday Party!

What I want from y'all is to reblog this post with a screenshot of your character in their vanilla* iconic outfit -- for example, @when-are-we-gonna-play-squash said her character always wears a beret -- or in something they might wear to a party.

I'm really looking forward to seeing everyone's characters so they can come along and enjoy the fun.

*(I'm not downloading a tonne of clothing mods)

Oh neat, Avikan lore is cannon here! What does your character think of the Akkimari? Do they think the Centens were created by the Ancients? Or maybe they were the ancients!

Here are some things to keep in mind about the blog!

I’m running this blog at a casual pace! Life can be a bit hectic, so posts may happen either as fast as a couple of days, or as slow as about a week or month.

There will be some deviation from the base Starbound lore. This blog makes use of lore from Starbound mods like Elithian Races, Novakids+, and RPG Growth, as well as a handful of ideas from my own noggin. Expect to see worlds, faces, and concepts not found in your vanilla-brand, Starbound yogurt!
