This was my PVP team back in Destiny 1. (Az > DVD > Me) I miss the good old days of OG Destiny 1 content with my shenanigan bros, marking our 10th year friendship this year. I will always remember the day we first met in PVP and destroy the opposing team, also competing to get more kills lololololol. Love you two Assholes.

man i love destiny, but the lore is actually so hard to follow as someone who started playing d2 in early december of 2023. like i've only ever played lightfall, shadowkeep, and beyond light (couldn't tell you which came first) + then the final shape. i don't know anything about fallen politics. who is crota. who is xivu arath. who is that spider guy. i don't know who eramis or ana bray or amanda holliday are really. what is oryx's deal. what actually is an ahamkara. at this point i'm too scared to ask. on that note, i think i've learnt more destiny lore through oral storytelling than actually playing the game

a lot of media assumes robots would be immortal but i think its a lot more interesting to explore robots dealing with their parts wearing down and battery life shortening and all the horrible little failings that come with being a complicated machine. sure they can replace parts but you'd assume you cant completely ship of theseus them, or it'd have pretty big rammifications on their sense of identity. idk. give me robots with distinct, unique signs of aging. as a treat.
