Speaking not as either of the characters right now, but I know there's been a lot of radio silence on this blog for a while, truth is it's been because of a mix of things. Firstly other stuff in life just, happened and so my attention went to places other than Tumblr. I also admittedly have, well not exactly lost interest in this fandom, but with the way my brain works hyperfixations tend to rotate in and out and new ones come to join. This is to say that basically my brain is a constant revolving door of special interests and its likely that Loonatics will earn the braincell again at some point, but for now my brain is decidedly latched onto something else entirely and so I wouldn't be able to put my all into this blog like I used to. Thank you all for the enjoyment and support of this blog and I won't say I will never pick it back up again, but for now I just have to sort of put focus on where my brain wants to focus.

So I do want to address how silent this blog has been lately, my attention has been shifted elsewhere for a while and I don’t exactly have the time to give each response the amount of thought I feel it deserves right at the current time so while I don’t wanna say this is an official hiatus I want to be transparent and admit I do not know if and when I will be returning to regular updates here.

Tech: Alright, to avoid the same problem we had last time it appears we will have to begin periodically closing access to new asks because not even 48 hours into reopening we are back up to double digit asks so to avoid a long stint of closing out new questions we will periodically close it off more frequently, if you see that access to submitting a new question is turned off don't worry it will be back up once the queue is empty again thank you for your patience. (I again am super grateful for your enthusiasm for this blog, but this is still only a side project and at time of writing I am the only person running this blog, that may change in the future, but for now as these answers are going to be canon compliant to my upcoming rev/tech fic I am carefully choosing how to answer… So to this end I am having to really keep a keen eye on how fast submissions are coming in, if it really comes down to it I may start asking that a person submits one question at a time and wait for it be answered rather than submitting multiple over the course of a single day or two as that can get very overwhelming real fast and make it hard for me to get to other people's questions)

(Okay so as those two have stated I am now finally caught up with all the submitted questions which means after posting this the asks will be re-enabled I just ask that you guys try and keep them coming a bit slower this time if possible cause I don't wanna have to lock out new asks again just to play catch up… As for the questions that weren't answered they would contain spoilers for a Pre-canon mildly AU fic that I have in the works where Rev and Tech actually meet at college before the meteor instead such questions included "how did you fall in love?" and while I'd love to answer them here I kinda wanna save those revelations for the fic cause the version of Rev and Tech for this blog will become very much tied to that fic once its started)

how can you tell if they’re nervous/lying?

Tech: Well unless someone invented a foolproof lie detector, and that is one of the few things I have not invented…. yet… there is no surefire way to tell unless you know someone well enough sure there are some tips everyone knows how to look for, but they aren't reliable like someone avoiding eye contact? How do you know they don't just naturally struggle with keeping eye contact for one reason or another they could be telling the truth and you would assume they weren't. If you know a person well enough and long enough you can tell the tells that would suggest they are lying. Rev: Oh really if that's the case then what are some of my tells then? Tech: you start to chuckle a lot more when you're nervous or trying to cover up something, its why you're a terrible liar when trying to surprise me with something. Rev: …… Wow… I didn't really expect you to have something concrete… I feel sort of called out now. Tech: Hey, you asked I answered I didn't say it was anything bad just something I've observed since I've known you.

ever thought about yourselves in different universes?

Tech: Honestly we don't really put too much thought into stuff like that, but I suppose there's limitless possibilities Rev: Like one where I'm a coyote and Tech is a road runner, or one where I'm the super smart socially awkward genius and Tech is actually the super athletic one, or- Tech: Okay Rev we get it like I said limitless possibilities and we do not need to actually start listing all of them off right now its late and I wanna finish things up and get some sleep.

Who would pet an alligator?

Tech: Honestly I would like to think no one on the team would do something that dangerous, but… if you all need a solid answer probably Slam or Duck, but certainly neither of us we like having all our fingers thanks.

thoughts on clowns?

Rev: Are Clowns like anyone's thing? like does anyone even like clowns? Duck: I find clowns delightful Rev: Duck… first of all… leave it to you to actually like clowns of all things, secondly what are you even doing in the lab? Duck: Ace wanted to know what you and egghead wanted from the Chinese place for dinner. Rev: Wow for once a surprisingly normal answer from you, I'll just go ask Tech and then come tell you guys what we are getting. (Okay I cheated a little with this one, but this meme lives rent free in my head and wanted to use it for the basis of something and this was the perfect opportunity)

What are your biggest fears?

Tech: Honestly this might sound corny, but its the only real fear I do have that aren't just minor ones like disliking spiders… I'd worry that one day something bad would happen to Rev, or really any of the team, but especially Rev. I never worry about myself cause obviously my powers would keep me safe, but Rev's life doesn't get a do-over and that scares me. Rev: I was just gonna say like clowns or something, but now I just wanna give Tech a hug...

What’s your self care routine?

Tech: Self care what's that?…. uh I mean… does eating at least one meal every day count? Rev: No it does not, especially not when I'm the one bringing you the food in question...

Tech: Uhm well its not like we ever keep track, nor do we really do that all that often if at all… Rev: Tech… Tech: Yes Rev? Rev: You're literally holding it right now… Tech: Oh… well… would you look at that...

Who gets nauseous easily?

Rev: It would really suck if I was prone to motion sickness since my superpower literally is super speed, Tech on the other hand… Lets just say I learned the hard way only to carry him while running in absolute emergencies… Not a fun experience for either party involved when I tried it the last time.

similar or different music tastes?

Tech: Honestly I wasn't much of a music person at first, but being around Rev long enough I started to become accustomed to his taste in music to a point where you could say we share taste, theres even some songs I listen to if I want to think of him, but don't tell him I said that.

who’s more cuddly?

Rev: Tech didn't hear me say this, but he's actually quite the cuddle, and I even ended up getting him a little plush of me made for him on nights when I'm not there for whatever reason.
