Zwei tilted his head. The small creature his former master was holding was staring at him and making the most nonsensical noises he could think of. It resembled a human, but it was so tiny. Yang's mate was holding another creature identical to this one, and they looked very similar to both the elder humans. Could these be human pups? Curious, Zwei padded over to the little one in Yang's arms, sniffed its head a few times and giving a small affectionate lick.

Yang couldn’t help the laugh that escaped her as Eve squirmed a little, seeming uncomfortable and disgusted by the licking.

“It’s not that bad Eve.”

Yang carefully scratched at Zwei’s cheek while holding her daughter.
