“I believe you may have been dragged into something or more consequence than you were expecting. Continue your studies and observations and I am sure you will find a way to raise the creature properly.”
He looked down at her and let out a chuckle, “I also believe that she will eat you out of your belongings before hand.”
The city was bustling with life, the market a hive activity. Moving between the merchants and their customers, Zarafinn walked easily. In one hand, a half-filled basket. In the other, Icutem's leash. Icutem was a little overexcited by the sheer amount of stimuli in the form of sights and smells, but managed to keep herself out of *too* much trouble as she walked on.
Akthanakos made his way down the streets of the city, his work holding some of his attention. He looked over most of those he passed with little to no interest until a face he recognized, “Ah, morning Finny.”

"One of the rare days to myself." he nodded, with a soft chuckle he said "It would seem as though she is getting too big for you to handle. I suppose the books in the restricted section that you've been reading haven't help?"

Akthanakos glanced down at Icutem once again without giving her the physical affection she called for "That is good. I am glad to see you hard at work. "You seem troubled. Is something bothering you?"

"I am well, enjoying the short, rare break I currently have." He glanced down at the bouncing creature with a look of discomfort. He really didn't want new drool spots on his robes but Zarafinn seemed to have a good enough grip on her. "And how are you? Up to anything of interest?" He looked back to the mortal.

He dropped the mortal voice since it did not seem to help. He leaned forward to look over the tower, and picking out a safe choice and placed it on the top of the tower as Zarafinn did, “Like this?”
Yes, please
