I Have Everything I Need
1K posts
Hey, Andy Gallagher. I can make people do things with my mind, but honestly, I already have everything I need. Though it is hard to resist a good prank. I'm trying to find this yellow-eyed demon by the way. It's about the only link I've got to the weird things that happened in my life so...if you know anything, let me know. Independent Andy Gallagher role-play blog. Please read the about page before roleplaying.

"Ahhhh…." Andy coughed hard and tightened his grip on the steering wheel. "Yeah I'm not…glad we cleared that up." He shook his head and then shot a glare back at Josh. "You hush, the grownups are talking and we don't need your snarky commentary." He didn't really mean it of course, he just wanted to diffuse the bit of tension that Dani had accidentally created. "And really, it's not a problem. My powers make getting beer and money very easy. Do you guys really not want to settle down anywhere?"

Dani felt slightly reassured by his words, thankful he wasn’t calling her crazy for worrying so much about her brother. “Thanks, Andy. I owe you big time for this…” She nodded a bit before her eyes widened a bit in realization of how that could be taken. “N-Not like with sex or anything, more like…beer…Not saying that you are sexually unattractive, I mean you are but like, even if I did want to do the no-pants-dance, Josh is here and I feel like we’re his parents…Not saying that we’re married now or anything but…yeah…I’m going to stop talking…” She sighed, a deep shade of red on her cheeks and neck. Josh chuckled from the back-seat. “Nice save.”

"Well, no, everyone’s got their own abilities," Andy said. He shrugged helplessly. "I don’t know, but you don’t need to help me. I just don’t want to see anyone else get hurt because of all this crap when I could help you…"
"What do I do then? What is my life supposed to be like now?" She asked, her voice tense, almost pained. "I don’t know what to do. I’m all alone…"
"You're not alone. You got me," Andy said with what he hoped was a reassuring smile. "I'm not going to let anyone hurt you. I think we can figure out how to keep you safe without screwing everything up…but maybe a temporary relocation would be nice…"

Too high on adrenalin to register the pain that was resonating through his wrist, Adam lay sprawled out on the ground, taking a moment to catch his breath before he clambered to his feet. There would be plenty of time to catalogue their injuries and heal and fuss over one another later on…if they both survived this random attack.
But seeing Andy transform before him, Adam could only sway on the spot, watching him with an expression bordering on awed horror as his eyes widened quite comically. Rendered speechless at the sight before him, he watched as the demon vanished into the floorboards, and then his vision began to swim a little.
"Mmm, yeah. Just my wrist, I think." He held said appendage up for inspection, groaning as he scooted closer to him, eyes screwing shut briefly. "Ow? Are you okay, Andy?"
Andy sucked in a deep breath and gingerly checked over Adam's wrist. "I-I don't know if it's broken or sprained or what we should…call 911 or get you to the hospital or something…"
He shook his head, trying to clear it and the pounding headache that resulted from what he had done. "I'm fine. Mostly. I hope." He glanced back at the body the demon had once inhabited and repressed a shudder. "I don't know how I did that Adam. I really don't."Andy wanted to keep the fear out of his voice, but it was nearly impossible. He wanted to be the adult, but he wasn't sure what he'd done and that terrified him.

The sound of something cracking was like a shock to Andy's system, and he jolted away from the wall, grabbing the demon's shoulders and yanking her back. He threw her to the ground and held out his hand.
"Get. Out. Now!" His powers rippled through him in a wave, coursing down from his mind and through his body, and he watched as the demon's back arched, black smoke billowing out other mouth in a high pitched wail. For a moment, it hovered ominously above him before sinking into the ground.
Andy swallowed thickly, trying to catch his breath. Then, eyes widening, he whirled around to face Adam. He raced to the other man's side and crouched down, careful not to jostle him. "Shit, shit, Adam, are you okay?"
The Start of Something New. //
Distracted and frozen to the spot as he gazed at the horrific sight of his boyfriend being slammed into the wall, he didn’t have any chance to do anything beyond grab the nearby lamp as a makeshift weapon as the demon launched at him.
Crying out as he was thrown to the floor and wincing as he heard something crack, he tried to remember some of the Latin his brothers had given him a crash course in, the words heavy and unfamiliar on his tongue as they spilled from his lips.

Andy glanced back at Adam, and apparently that was all he needed to lose his concentration. The demon lunged forward, knocking Andy into the wall to head for Adam.
For a moment, all Andy could do was stare, trying to will himself into doing something but he felt like he was the one frozen. "N-no! Adam!"
The Start of Something New. //
Torn between following his boyfriend’s orders or staying to fight, Adam hesitated and that cost him a few minutes, and when he turned, the demon was approaching him. “No! Don’t you dare! Leave us both alone, okay?”
He was tired of this, tired of being a target just because of his surname and his bloodline, and it appeared that Andy was just as much as risk here as he was. “Please!”

Andy ignored the look on Adam's face. He hated saying anything to hurt the younger, but it was a fricking life or death situation. He couldn't afford to get all emotional.
"Yeah, yeah, I got her, just go," Andy said. His hand trembled a bit and the demon grinned. He let out a soft cry as his head pounded and she took one, shaking step towards him. "No, you STAY BACK!" The demon took a few steps back, lips twisting into an ugly snarl. "Adam, hurry up!"

"You do realize I’m also not human right? And my life’s pretty good if I do say so myself," Andy said. "Look, I can try and help you. If you want me too. But either way, at least let me teach you how to protect yourself."
"I’m not you. I can’t tell someone to do something." She replied, leaning back angrily. She looked away for a moment before turning her gaze back to him. "How can you help?"
"Well, no, everyone's got their own abilities," Andy said. He shrugged helplessly. "I don't know, but you don't need to help me. I just don't want to see anyone else get hurt because of all this crap when I could help you…"

"Oh my god, can't you just care a little less?" Andy didn't mean it of course, the words just popping out of him without consulting his brain. Carefully, he tried to edge around the demon, flinching when her hand twitched.
He fixed his gaze at her, locking his eyes with hers. "Stay. Where. You are." Finally, he got to stand in between the demon and Andy. "I'd say we should run but she'd probably follow us, and I don't know how much longer I can hold her. Do you have any salt?"
The Start of Something New. //
"Like I care what they think!" Adam burst out then, clearly agitated as he took a step back, piercing blue eyes widening as the demon approached him, clearly bored of Andy for the moment.
"Andy! Just…just…" He faltered then, unable to put his thoughts into words as he locked eyes with his boyfriend as he shook his head. There was no way that he was leaving him alone.

Andy tapped out the beat to whatever song was playing on the radio on the steering wheel, frowning at Dani's words. "What's wrong? It's just the beach. I mean I know what happened with him but we'll both be there. If you wanna look away I'll keep watching. We'll never take our eyes off him. Can't let fear get in the way of a good time."
Along the Shores // Andy, Dani, and Josh

Dani wasn’t entirely certain of the plan. Andy was driving them closer and closer to the shore of California. And with every mile, she became more and more nervous. Last time she went to a beach…her brother nearly died. She wrung her hands nervously, staring out the window as her brother sat in the backseat, excited for finally going to the beach after all these years. Dani glanced at Andy, trying to keep her voice low. “I don’t think this is really a good idea…” She mumbled.

Ofelia glanced up at him, her hand twitching under his touch. “Okay? Okay?! I’m not human. That’s not okay.” She shot a glare at him, her hand clenching into a fist.

Andy bit the inside of his cheek. "Okay so maybe I'm not so good at this 'breaking-the-hard-news' business." He reached out and settled his hand over hers, rubbing the back of her hand with his thumb. "It's gonna be okay Ofelia. I swear."
Quarter-Life Crisis || Andy and Ofelia
"Nothing? At all?" he asked. "Not even like a tickle?" He frowned. "Usually on the demons I can at least make them like, hesitate a little. Sorry. Looks like you’re out of my league." Andy gave a small shrug and what he hoped was a reassuring smile. "But hey, I mean, that means you should be able to hold your own against the demons, right?"
Ofelia could barely hear him. The blood was pumping so loudly in her ears, she couldn’t even hear a shout at this point. She stared down at the table top, absorbing the new information, though she was still in a state of shock.

Andy tried to make him stop. He really did, for what it was worth, but where making Mic do something, slamming up against this demon felt like hitting a brick wall. His head flared with pain when he was slammed down against the wall, a hand wrapping around his throat.
He scrabbled desperately at the demon's face, clawing at it, trying to get him off but the stupid thing just laughed. His vision swam and darkened, and he waited for some sort of survival instinct to get in, some desperate need to keep going to amplify his powers like it always did in the movies, but it never came.
The Badlands || Andy & Mic
The trouble was right behind them and it came in the form of three demons. She recognized one of them which only concerned her more. That meant it was probably personal. Demons got even stupider when personal grudges were involved.
Instantly, Mic moved to throw them backwards with a flick of her wrist but only caught one of the other demons. Drawing her knife, she rushed forward. She slashed at one of the demons while driving her shoulder into the other. The hope was to distract both of them long enough for Andy to protect himself. Or something.
It didn’t work that way, however. While the demon she had thrown was picking himself up and the demon Mic had recognized was trying to tear her throat out, the third demon was rushing past her towards Andy.

"California seems nice. Always seemed better than the ass end of Oklahoma," Andy said. "Sound good to you?" He didn't want to take over their lives or anything, but it seemed like they were looking to him for some sort of direction.

"I would call that weird," Andy said, but decided not to push the issue. He leaned forward on the table, locking his eyes with Ofelia’s. "Okay, don’t freak out if this works. I want you to get up and take this book to the second bookshelf back and rest it on the third shelf from the top." Andy put all his power into the words, hoping for her sake that it’d work.
Ofelia looked back at him, staring just as intensely as he did to her. As he said his command, she was hoping for it to work. But alas, she didn’t get up, she didn’t even move a muscle. She took a shaky breath before blinking. “N-No…” she stuttered, feeling her past hope of normalcy vanish from her.

"Sort of, that sounds interesting." She released Andy only to advance on Adam. "Winchesters are much more interesting than boring old demon kids, although it's cute that you're dating. I wonder what Sam and Dean would think of that."
She reached out to grab Adam, but Andy reached a hand out, trying to grab her mind.
"Stay right where you are!"
She froze but she was trembling and Andy could feel his hold on her slipping. He turned his gaze towards Adam, trying to urge him to run without saying a word.

"Adam don't…" Andy kicked at the woman's legs and then fell back on the wall when she released him. He moved to step in front of the demon to prevent her from going after Adam.
"He's no one," Andy said as the woman got to her feet once more. "Not to you anyways."
"Oh really?" She grinned. "But he knows what I am. And I'd recognize those eyes anywhere. Winchester eyes, those are." She knocked Andy aside and stepped closer to Adam. "That what you are? A Winchester?"

"Thanks! I knew I kept you around for a reason!" Adam called back, laughter lacing his words as he tugged on his hoodie, and then began the search for his shoes.
Returning to the room moments later, he felt his breath hitch in his throat at the sight before him. “Andy!” He cried out, the words slipping out before he could stop them escaping, and thus he ended up drawing more attention to himself. “Demon…” He breathed out then, seeing her eyes darken, and he grabbed a large stick from the floor as a weapon - one that Max had brought home on his last walk. “Let him go!”
