{~The Firebrand~}

[Spoiler for Demo 4!]

[After the Battle with Captain Trotter and The Ancients...]

Alexander was... Bothered by the fight to say the least... He gazed at the Lava below, conflicted by the choices he and Visitor had made. He then gazed at Calypso, seeing how traumatised she was... Alexander walked over to her and gently pulled her into a comforting hug.

"I'm sorry for your loss... I... We didn't want this... Blame us, hate us if you want... We know we deserved it..." He mutters quietly in guilt. Calypso burst into tears and tightly hugged him back. Alexander continue hugging her, humming a lullaby to calm her down.

After she calmed down, Alexander patted her on the head before standing up. He saw Visitor standing there, smiling creepily while looking at the Firebrand. Alexander's stomach twisted as he saw the current mood of Visitor. Then a voice was heard;

"Get me away from them. There's something wrong with them." A voice firmly stated, its tone sharp. Alexander was confused. Where did the voice come from? What does it mean "get it away from them"? Then it clicked. That was The Firebrand. But how and why? He doesn't know yet.

With a sigh, Alexander approaches Visitor cautiously, like approaching a cornered animal. When Alexander finally got to them, he firmly put his hand on Visitor's shoulder. They flinched and immediately tried to swing the Firebrand at him but he grab their wrist before it struck him.

"Visitor, it's me. Calm down." Alexander commanded in a authorative tone. Visitor paused, before lowering the Firebrand. They then look at the distance with a blank look. Alexander eyes soften in concern, he wonders what is happening to them. They've been acting so strangely ever since they got the Ghostwalker.

Alexander sighs before reaching for the Firebrand, Visitor immediately pulls the Firebrand away. Alexander sighs again. "Can I have the Firebrand? You've already burdened yourself with 3 swords. I want to help you ease it." He calmly and gently spoken, wanting Visitor to trust him.

Visitor paused for a few seconds... Before finally handing over the Firebrand to Alexander. Alexander sighs in relief and pats their head. "Let's go back. Shedletsky is probably waiting for us." He said and took Visitor's hand.

Anyway I finished Demo 4 and probably gonna drop some angst relating to how Banished Knight obtained the Firebrand
