2. I picked Blathers because I really like biology, and he is my favorite character in Animal Crossing.

5. My main human villager was found dead in Miami, my persona is actually a barn owl guy named Taito.

8. I was fascinated by the City Folk/New Leaf era of ask blogs and comics that was long gone, so I wanted to try my hand at one moreso in the style of those (i.e. Not Horribly Bland Like New Horizons)

10. All of them except for Amiibo Festival, and the E+ version of ACGC.

11. Easily Wild World. It has my favorite writing in the series, both for villagers and Special NPCs, and it was also my first AC.

12. I have no ideas for any AUs, but my favorite thing about the first two AC games was the feeling of genuine warmth and community they had to them, that was lost a little bit to me with ACNL and loooooooooong dead in ACNH.

14. Stuff like Yellow Magic Orchestra, The Who, and Emerson, Lake, and Palmer come to mind for what Blathers would probably listen to. Maybe some Atari Teenage Riot and The Prodigy on the side as well.

15. Probably the one with Sable talking about clothing, or the meetup with everyone during Christmas a few years ago.

16. Not really, I try to write pretty close to the first two games, just with more edge inspired by the likes of the various Japan Studio games I like, such as Doko Demo Issyo.

20. The first time I discovered ACWW's character episodes without knowing they existed felt wonderful to me, as it made me realize that the Special NPCs of AC had more depth to them than I thought. A real damn shame they never returned to the degree of ACWW in subsequent AC games.

22. Probably either James Bond or Bayonetta, depending how how Blathers feels that day.

23. Barn Owl.

24. I unfortunately suck at drawing humans so this was the best I could do.

25. Blathers is easily my favorite special NPC, least favorite is probably CJ (in the English translation at least, JP CJ is written much better).

26. He definitely values Celeste and Brewster a lot.

27. Probably phylogenetic trees of the Paleoithic era.

28. A barn owl, most likely a Lazy who actively messes with the player.

29. Chaotic good, with the way I like writing him.

30. Probably the Meteor Shower from ACGC, the music and atmosphere is just phenomenal there.

31. For it to be a return to roots with an emphasis on quality dialogue and interactions with a community instead of yet another really bland game. Also, a world on the scale of the MK8 track or AC movie.

Unfortunately, Blathers has already started drinking to cope, but... he made an online friend through that, somehow. Think it was that cat zynithologist and curator he mentioned a while back... I think that guy's name was Kuro.

Have you ever made a mistake and accepted a donation of something that was already in the museum? If so (don't worry, happens to the best of us), how do you deal with the extras? Do you sell them? Donate them somewhere else? ...eat them?

Celeste here! Unfortunately, Blathie- er... Blathers isn't here to talk for now, so I'll be answering questions. He didn't get the museum promotion. Instead, he got... laid off. He's been really lethargic since, and I'm very worried for him...
