Hi I know this blog hasn’t been active in like three years now but if there’s any chance the people who run this blog see this, I just want you to know that this brings me an immense amount of serotonin and it truly does make me so happy to see this kind of content for one of my favorite shows. I know it’s more than likely that you’ll never read this message but I still wanted to send it anyway on the slim chance you might. You are still making people happy even years after you stopped posting here and I thank you for it.

Wow, thank you! What an amazing surprise. It's been years since I stopped skating, so I kind of stopped expecting people to recognize me in public (also I... maybe put on a little bit of weight?). But it means the world to me that my story is still giving people inspiration! Yuuri and I (and the dogs!!!!) are still very happy together, building a life as two fat queer people (and our dogs!!!!!) who love ourselves and each other as we are. I hope you're doing well, and that the days you have ahead are just as bright as the beach in Hasetsu.

((Genuinely, this message made the mods so happy to see! We dropped this blog mostly because we don't have time for it anymore, because Mod Abbi works full-time and Mod Bodie is in grad school, but we're still passionate about Yuri on Ice and spreading the message of fat liberation, so it means a lot that it's still bringing people joy! ((Go check out this zine I was in, it’s for a good cause!

My finished illustration for Bel Ami, a Yuri!!! On Ice zine celebrating the lovely Christophe Giacometti! I love illustrating the softer side of Chris, surrounded in wildflowers and golden light and delicious cheese.

This was my first zine ever, so I was honoured to be a part of it and I even got to design the cover (which I will post later!)

There’s so much fantastic artwork and writing in this zine - I believe you can still nab a leftover copy or a PDF version if you head over to the @giacomettizine blog!

@aushunfan Honestly, Yurio can do whatever he wants with his body, so long as he’s happy with it. The more fat and happy people, the better! That being said, there’s no way he could beat my weight record. I’m a champion for a reason.

He’s getting older, so it might be a little more difficult for him than for someone in their early twenties, but I support Yuuri in his choices. We’d probably have to get him new costumes, though! I wouldn’t let my Yuuri skate in too-small clothes (even though it’d be hot to see him out there on the ice half naked…).
