Cacophony since you hate humanity, is there any part of the Fischl singularity that you do like?

Director Fischl, did you pick your name for yourself, or did someone else name you? If you picked it, why?

Fischl is named that because I (the author) used to have a bunch of dreams about fish when I was a kid, so that influenced the way I thought about this creature that would be curious about people (speaking to scary fish in my dreams)

It's design having those big eyes that it is always trying to close to look more normal and the tiny little teeth are supposed to make it look like something like a ''deep-water human'' - and it carries a lantern often as anglerfish shorthand...

As for the 'director' part.. he just came up with that trying to sound important. It's because he often will need to say that he is in charge of some operation or facility in order to ''accommodate'' for the humans (adjust to their language) ... I don't think there's an in-canon explanation for what ''Fischl'' means, so it's a good question... in that case I'll say the thing about dreams happened to Amelia, and so her explanation is the same as mine. Soleil, how did you and Zophia meet?

THE ACTUAL ANSWER: they met very shortly after Soleil decided to leave home at about age fourteen. Zophia is not a good person and was already stalking her because xe dedicates xer ENTIRE LIFE to chasing people who MIGHT get abducted by Fischl. They would have met on some theatre forum or fandom website and Zophia promised Soleil “temporary” board until she would be picked up by an actual circus troupe.

Obviously not! But xe DOES find a way to still have Soleil go to school by and by (because that is important to xer development for maximum success with the ritual) - because they keep moving around, she keeps changing schools and missing out key stages of learning and having to redo certain tests - nobody is supposed to know Zophia at all, and Soleil often uses pseudonyms in public - that’s why xe is mad at you rn

After the last illustration I have a question. If Nichol and Fischl fought 1v1 (they can use whatever freakish entity power they have) in a ring or cage who would win. Nevertheless I root for Nichol but I'm curious

Fischl: “I need to clear some of this stuff out, the acoustics are all wrong, I can’t hear anything you’re saying!”

The director is the strongest personality in the Fischl species by far, it functions as the “face” of the collective so — even though Nichol is technically equally matched bc of being the same person with technically all of the same abilities — Nichol thinks they are a human so they are more vulnerable to attacks in this fight.

Fischl in general frequently infights, with Nichol being a popular target. The scars they have are from losing this exact fight like a million times before

The director acts like a kid about these fights and gloats like it’s some friendly rivalry instead of like… the whole reason there’s ever problems (Fischl not being a human being)

Yo, Nichiol, Why'd you erase Ariel from existence? Just curious!

Ariel refused to see past himself and become a better person, despite being given a lot of second chances he just made the conscious decision to keep involving other people in his self imposed misery and went on spreading sadness and selfishness all around - also, he is AMELIAS ex boyfriend. It cannot bode well

Miss Amelia, if it’s not overly personal, how did you become a werewolf?

Amelia’s affliction is a product of her being in a dimension that is a physical version of an internal dialogue… the Werewolf thing is a physical manifestation of her loss of self control during an episode - there’s no way she’d be willing to talk about that without actually becoming the wolf again, it’s brought on by things that trigger her ptsd - often that’s thinking she’s let somebody down… or a fire

(On earth she was by no means ever a violent person, there werewolf is her faun response as it effects HER, which is why the werewolf is an advantage for Nichol, the person Amelia cares about the most)

Amelia, do your hand puppets have names? Did you make them yourself?

(Amelia bought her puppets on the internet when she was doing her apprenticeship as a teaching assistant before she could qualify to do actual teaching … they’re called Paul and Jessica like from dune because those are the first names she thought of to describe their personalities to herself, but they’re nothing like Paul and Jessica from dune … Jess Rabbit is like Paul Bears ‘older sister’ … Paul Bear tends to get grumpy when he doesn’t understand something, but she makes sure the kind of do an equal amount of helping each other if she’s actually using them for classes.

She liked teaching nursery age kids the most, when she became an actual teacher she obviously didn’t get to do stuff like this anymore, and secondary school kids are sadder to talk to than little babies. She actually found teaching really hard because she can’t stand to see people upset)

Hey Nichol, is the moon made outta cheese and what is your favorite cheese?

(a lot of the “natural” elements of the living world are made of the same components as the Fischl-thoughtforms bodies —- the ash-snow of the white dessert is technically all like… Fischl dandruff. That’s what the Moon is made out of, thought-matter biology. All of it.)

It is day one of the official (but non-canon-effecting) Parasite Moon ask blog!

I thought this would be a fun idea to do, so please don't be mad if I fall of or don't keep up with this very often... it just seemed like a great way to practice drawing and to have fun interacting w anyone who cares enough to remember these guys LOL

Before we start I think I'll just do some rules about question asking:

Please respect that I don't like the sexualization of my characters, I know I come on here and draw a bunch of milfs and aliens but I need to ask you to please treat them as if you were talking to a real person - because behind the screen I am a real person myself if you'd believe and I'm the one who has to see it.

Despite the name, this blog is meant for ALL of the characters to respond from - I may post them all on here in summary one day - but as you probably must know already I am far more active on Instagram (@moongatti) where you can find the rest of my art (which gives context here and there about what universe these characters belong to).

Finally, if something doesn't get replied to for whatever reason there will be a million reasons why - I have a full-time job and I tend to get carried away by lots of different artistic projects, it's nothin' personell kid (/ref)
