Anonymous: So, i have a pretty good question for henry and the others: How do you guys have so many gadgets? It's like a pocket dimension?

- Ellie thinks about it, appearing slightly confused. “I guess, technically? It’s just hammer-space. Normally it can’t hold that much, but there are exceptions.”

- Charles peers back, looking at Henry and Ellie. “Hey guys, we’re about to make our descent. You should probably strap in. You know. So you don’t hit your heads.” - Ellie quickly unfolds one of the seats attached to the helicopter wall, sitting, and buckling in. - From the front, Charles starts speaking into his headset, clearing them for landing. - Henry, on the other hand, approaches the sliding doors. He pauses for a moment, thinking, then opens them. - “Henry...” Ellie warns, already knowing what’s coming. - He glances back, pulls out some weird looking boots, salutes with a big grin on his face, then hops out of the helicopter. - “Henry-!” Ellie cuts herself off, putting her face in her hands. He’ll be fine. She knows it, but it doesn’t stop his actions from feeling reckless and unnecessary. - In the front, Charles interrupts himself. - “-Oh... Oh, yeah. Looks like Henry jumped. Again. Uh- No. I think he, uh. He’s already on the ground. No parachute.”

- Ellie sighs and returns to continue answering the initial question, face still in her hands. “Henry is... one of those exceptions. He’s got so much random junk in his hammer-space, I don’t think even he knows what’s in there.”

Little Update: Blog Changes

Sorry I kind of disappeared for a bit! I’m now drawing for a collaborative ask blog, and I can’t do art for both this blog and that blog; so what I’m going to do is switch this blog to more of a writing/storytelling ask blog.

Basically, instead of art, I will write a few paragraphs of what the trio is doing, including an answer (direct or indirect), in response to the ask. It will be written like a story, not a script.

I will not feel bad if any of you decide to unfollow because of this change; I get it. I usually prefer art ask blogs myself. However, I really want to continue writing my version of Henry Stickmin, so this feels like a nice middle ground.

If you stick around, I hope you like my writing!

Hey guys! I got caught up in making fanart for @missionaries-assemble-askblog​ (caution, there is cursing on their page). I love the blog a lot. I had heavily considered making a similar ask blog instead of this one, but they’re doing/writing it much better than I think I would, so I’m happy with my decision.

(By the way, if the mods of the blog would like another artist, I am absolutely down to draw for you guys. As in, I kinda really want to join if you’d let me.)

I’m really happy with the drawings! I’m especially proud of how Mr. Cyborg, aka Revenged Henry, turned out. I like to think each pose by each Henry would be a pose that every single one would use, but each alternate Henry has ones they ‘default’ to. I have some other sketches of other alternate Henry’s below the read more; they’re not polished whatsoever, but I’m still happy with them.

Here are the other alternate Henry’s (with random notes I thought of):

Poor ‘Capital Gains’ Henry. I honestly couldn’t think of anything. I also put two of my own alternate timeline design ideas, just because I like them. Hope you guys like!

Ellie: “Well, as you probably already know, it started out just me and Henry repaying a favor.”

Ellie: “After we took care of the rocket, Henry seemed keen on sticking around and doing more missions. I didn’t really have anywhere else to be myself, and we all made a pretty good team together, so I stuck around as well.”

Ellie: “One thing led to another and now we’re the best covert ops team Galeforce’s got.”

Henry doesn’t think shuffling cards is fun. Eating them would at least be somewhat entertaining.

Ellie: “We’re staying at some government barracks right now, but we’re often staying at a random camp with other forces.”

Charles: “This helicopter is also kitted with tents and supplies if we need to hunker down someplace for some reason, like if I’ve been flying for over eighteen hours and feeling tired or if we need to lay low for a while because someone got spotted.”

Charles: “Or occupy it.”

Charles: “Hey guys! It looks like we got our first message.”

Charles: “Should probably reply to it.

Charles: “Check, check, this is Covert Ops Team Geode. We’re doing pretty good! On our way back from a mission. We were checking the old Toppat rocket site. It looks like someone’s cleaned up the place a little, so somebody’s gonna have to follow up and check again later. Probably nothing, though. Could have just been someone curious.”

Ellie: “Yeah, it was kind of a boring mission. No big deal though. They can’t all be thrilling adventures.

Ellie: “I’ve been trying to teach Henry some card tricks on our way back. He’s doing good. Kinda. We only lost a few cards out the window.”
