I’m honestly nervous about rping in the zelda rpc for a number of reasons and until I can kind of get over that, it prevents me from being here more often. Hopefully if I keep posting here it’ll get easier again.

Zelda bowed slightly. “Thank you, you are most gracious.” She was 90% sure this ‘Majora’ was some kind of spirit or deity, and she knew manners could be lifesaving.

“Farewell, perhaps we will meet again someday!” Zelda smiled and walked through the doorway… to find herself back where she started. Okay. Strange. She coughed and went through the door again, a bit faster. Then slower. Then sideways. She even ran at it, though she tripped on arrival and landed face down with a mouthful of dirt. “Pfleh…”

“Very funny, sir.” She just wanted to go home…

It was funny the first time she went through the portal, but with each subsequent attempt it grew more and more hilarious still, until he couldn’t hold back laughter any longer. 

  “I’m so terribly glad you are amused as well,” he cackled, wiping a non-existent tear from his eye. “Hmm, perhaps my magic is not working properly. It’s such a shame~.”

He was unsure she’d actually believe him, but then again, she was rather young looking. At the same time though, he’s underestimated how sharp children could be before. He scowled at the thought, contemplating that brat, Link, who had bested him so long ago in battle.

Waving a hand, as if to usher those internal musings away, he flashed Zelda a wide smile.

  “We could always play a game while we wait for my magic to cooperate. How does that sound, little one? Perhaps hide and seek?”

Zelda really didn’t like that sound of that. She’d never seen anything like the… person? Before her.

“Erm… right. Well, as fun as playing with you sounds, I-I obviously do not wish to intrude- perhaps you could point me in the direction of Hyrule? M-My name is Zelda, and… you are?”

   “Zelda hmm?” There was a vague sense of familiarity with that name, but the mention of Hyrule was what really got his attention. “I am no one of real consequence, but you may call me Majora.”

He could more than easily help her, he knew exactly how to return to her homelands, but where was the fun in that? He wanted to have some fun before sending her on her way.

Putting on his best pout, he sighed in an incredibly exaggerated fashion.

   “I suppose I could help you, little spoilsport. Go through that doorway and you’ll return.” He pointed to a doorway to his left. He put a temporary spell on it as he pointed which created an invisible portal, one that would lead directly back to where she was standing now rather than Hyrule.

This was going to be fun.

   “Indeed you are... To be blunt with you, I’m not quite sure how you managed to make your way to my dwelling.”

   “However, it is a lovely surprise, as it has been quite a while since I’ve had any playthings-- I mean guests come to visit me~.”

   “He had the power of multiple gods behind him! It had been as if going against three gods at once for me!”
