The past few years have really been rough on us, huh? It feels like all our foundations were yanked right out from under us. Now it feels like we’re starting again from a place of complete ignorance.

But we are starting again. There’s something nice about that, isn’t there? Something freeing, even if it means we have to relearn everything, and be vigilant about stumbling into pitfalls. Don’t forget why we’re here. The world is a beautiful place to see and discover, despite its hardships. A place worth fighting for.

Sometimes it feels like underneath all the sorrow is just more sorrow, so we can’t forget that even when that’s the case, we have the power to change it. The world is a thing we are all building together. If it’s not the world we want, than we can build it different — we have to. Learn what you can and make a game plan so that you can be confident in your ability to make good decisions.

Everyone needs someone to rely on. Be vigilant for tyrants who offer comfort in exchange for control and instead strive to become the person you needed when times were at their hardest.

Two young girls, one with blonde hair and a black beret and the other with vivid pink hair appear before Mel Anna. "U-Um... Miss... We heard you're doing readings..." The blonde asks a little nervously. The pink-haired girl, meanwhile, has a big smile on her face. "Alice has been wanting to know if she's going to be making more friends sometime soon! I wanna know if I will, too! Can you tell us, please???" The pink-haired girl asks excitedly. "Y-Yes... Please tell Yuri and I...!" Alice asks.

"Of course! I'd love to tell your fortunes!" Mel grins excitedly and begins shuffling her tarot deck. "Which one of you would like to go first? Tell me a little more about yourself."

It seems like there are labyrinths popping up everywhere! Does it seem like there are more witches in Kamihama than usual lately? Hm....

It looks like I’m going to be called upon to do some fortune telling today... ah, that’s right! I’ve got some clients to meet with later! I haven’t forgotten, I was just waiting for the right moment.

Today, you’ll be called upon to make an important decision — act boldly and authoritatively! Be the boss! You have resources at your disposal, so don’t overlook them!

What are we going to have to face today? There’s a new emotion bubbling up to the surface, but it’s at odds with something else, and neither side is willing to compromise. Stay grounded, take care of yourself, and don’t take any unnecessary risks.

Today’s luck is... bad! The appearance of a labyrinth is likely to interrupt an already-bad day, so be careful!

@dsknsk That’s true! Most people don’t know that, though, and the Death card is so recognizable, so a lot of tv shows and stuff use it as easy shorthand for a bad tarot reading. What I was trying to express was more that feeling of turning over a card and immediately getting a terrible feeling — not the Death card specifically.

In the actual spread I was getting bad vibes about, I drew the Ten of Swords and the Five of Pentacles. Oof.

Today, it seems like there’s darkness all around and the only path forward is barely illuminated at all. We’ve really gotten set in our ways and it’s hard to change. We’re reeling over this loss, and it isn’t just that something is going away, but that it feels like it’s been taken from us, like it’s been stolen. The biggest thing to take away is that there’s still hope for a bright future ahead. Don’t forget the happiness we can all have together.

Today’s overall luck is... pretty bad, honestly. But it’s the darkness in the middle of the tunnel, with the light like a guiding star in the distance. If you’re out fighting witches, today’s victories will be hard-won, and you’ll be relying heavily on your allies.
