If you make your patients feel unsafe and ashamed of themselves and afraid to tell you things about their health, I don’t care how smart you are, you’re not good at your job. You’re not a good medical professional if people don’t trust you. Full fucking stop. It’s not a matter of ‘bedside manner’ it’s a matter of being a fucking asshole to vulnerable people. People die because of doctors and nurses they feel like they can’t trust. If you make fun of your patients and belittle them, even behind their backs, you’re not a good medical professional. You deserve to be fired for posting videos of yourself talking about your patients disrespectfully online.
