Let's just say my parents are quite.... Highly strung, stuck in their ways, if you catch my drift... I don't really see my mother any more, only really my father, though, he isn't too thrilled with the pathway I chose...

I'm sure I'll help prove to him that I made the right choice, I don't want it to go back in my face. I'm enjoying it so far though, the campus is really nice, and the people are great.

oh. i can't really relate to that, my parents know this is my destiny. they've always been my number one fans - as in, both first, and biggest supporters.

the only time history has ever been relevant was hamilton, and, as far as i know, math has never been. did you try pointing that out to your father? maybe it'd make him see your perspective. ...but hopefully you're talented enough to prove yourself on that merit alone, without having to waste time arguing with the non-creatives.

I'd rather get to know someone a bit first, you know? I've had my fair share of interesting nights, but sometimes it's nicer to know the person. Mmmm, guess that's for me to know.

Somehow I don't think I really want to out 'manwhore' you. Don't get me wrong, I love a bit of fun, who doesn't? I'm just like meh about it, doesn't really bother me.

We are, but without Musical Theatre, where would New York be? Broadway would be dead.

Oh, I never drink it just as is, I always have sugar and some sort of creamer in there to make it taste better. The energy boost that it gives you though is out of this world. It's probably not the best thing for me to drink... But it does the job.

You musical theatre kids are surely something.

It's more so about the impact it would have on my family if I didn't do well. Let's just say my father wasn't too impressed with the major and minor I chose... He seems to think that mathematics and history does matter, which I don't dispute, it's just not my passion. You can do a lot of great things with Musical Theatre and Dance, I had to fight my case, and now I must prove my case. I don't think square roots would've helped me at all in life, to be honest.

unless you're untalented, i don't see why pursuing a theatre major is something anyone would regret. even then, i think the biggest of flops would still get something out of the experience, something far more valuable than any mathematics or history course could give. what kind of life lessons can square roots teach you?

Seems like cheerleading is a stressful business, huh? What are the requirements to becoming a 'Cheerio'? It does seem interesting, though I'm not sure how free my schedule would be to actually take part... Though I know I would be able to not drop people.

The absolute incompetence that we have on the Cheerios is appalling. We don't work as hard as we do to have mediocre Cheerios and if I almost slip off the pyramid again because someone got distracted by the guys practice? I will personally have some words with Coach Sylvester and have those members kicked off the squad. Effective immediately.

Does anyone else ever feel like they run into Coach Sylvester just a little too often? I mean, it’s obviously not that odd when it happens in the hallways or at Lima Bean, but what on earth is she doing at Between The Sheets? She went into a minute-long rant about how much she hates sheet music just a few days ago, and something tells me she's not there for the impromptu live performances either. This was the third time this week that she was suddenly standing behind me, and I’m kind of starting to think she’s spying on me.

I really do hope that I don't regret my choice of what I wanted to study, of course I am motivated and passionate about it, but I also know that this is going to be a lot of work. I think I need to get myself a membership at the coffee place or something, because I will be needing those in the early mornings when I have 7am dance calls.... So how's everyone doing? I'm Myles, Myles Smythe. I'm majoring in Musical Theatre, and minoring in Dance, I love coffee, alcohol, parties, pizza, and video games. A fun fact about myself... I once went to a party in High School, and lord knows how, but I somehow ended up in the middle of a car parking lot, completely naked... Along with 5 others.... Yeeeaaaah, It's probably best that I don't remember what happened.
