Now THERE'S a good question

There was Pacman 2: The New Adventures. That one was a point and click game where you basically got to see how much punishment you could put me through....you bunch of sadists...

There was also Pac-Land, this side scrolling game that had me helping a fairy get back to her home.

Is it me, or does that story honestly sound like the plot of your typical 80's animated movie? I have a hunch Namco was scheming up a movie and decided at the last second to make it a game....

Anyway, the strangest? I'm tempted to say Professor Pacman

I'm not even sure why Namco thought this was a good idea...you don't go to an arcade to learn and answer trivia questions...you go there to rot your brain with mindless video games and frustrating claw machines! I WOULD say this is the strangest, buuuuut almost every famous video game character did an educational game....look at Mario is Missing or Sonic Schoolhouse!

....on second thought, DON'T look at Sonic Schoolhouse...poor guy already has a few blemishes on his record. Anyway, back on topic. The strangest Pac-Man game has to be a rather RECENT one....Pacman Pizza Parlor

I honestly think Namco was just messing with everyone that day and wanted to see how far they could push their luck with their mascot. You think Sonic as a Were-Hog is strange? How about me working in a pizza place?

The story is supposed to be about this woman named Cathy who's struggling to run the family pizza place after her father loses her memory. Fortunately for her, I pop out of the arcade machine to help out.

......I dare you to read that summary and keep a straight face. I dare you.

I thought so.

This game sort of played like Diner Dash with a limited version of my mazes tacked onto it. Apparently the game DID sell though...so I guess that counts for something...though I still want to know who was in on that meeting and what did they snorted, inhaled, swallowed, and or injected that day

Fistful of Quarters

Ahhh, Billy Mitchel. Now THAT'S a name that takes me back to the good ol' days. The golden age of arcade games. To anyone who doesn't know who he is, Billy Mitchel is the man who holds the world record for Pac-Man, but he's more known for his record on Donkey Kong.

So, what do I think of him? I know a lot of people make him out to be the 'super-villain of arcade games' because of how he acted towards Steve when he was trying to break the record himself. That he's an over-achieving jerk who can't stand to lose and that he's a cheater.

But me myself personally...I've honestly never met the guy. I know that seems odd that I never met the man who set the world record on my own game, but then again, I don't think Donkey Kong ever met him either.

But based on what I've heard and seen in King of Kong and Chasing Ghosts. Billy seems like he COULD be an okay guy...but I think he has entitlement issues and is a little stuck-up if you ask me. Either way, I would like to meet him one day. ((OOC: Interesting question you threw me! I tried to give the most unbiased opinion I could...even though King of Kong DID make me hate the guy a little))

Pac-Party?

Hey everyone...I'm really sorry I've not been answering questions lately. Things got a bit hectic lately. Clyde is off filming Wreck-It Ralph and I was discussing royalties stuff with Disney on both that AND that new cartoon they'll be doing of me soon enough.

But! I'm gonna try and get back into the swing of things! So let's answer a question, huh?

A pot-luck party? Hmm....not a bad idea actually...I'll consider it, Shinko. Also, whenever you want to play! I'll see if I can get Rainbow Mika in on it again!
