Headcanon:Reign of Mizukages

Byakuren:(16 years) He was the first mizukage,the wisest kage of his time.He dies weeks before first ninja world war,due to old age.

Gengetsu Hozuki:(2 years) He is chosen by councel. Dies in a battle against Iwa's second tsuchikage mu,who also loses his life.

Third Mizukage:(33 years) he reigns longer than other mizukages.He was killed by curse jutsu casted by madara from countries away,which too,shortened madara's own lifespan,forcing him to find a vessel to fulfill his plans.

Yagura Karatachi:(13 years) He was selected by councel in his teens.He was,unlike second and third mizukage,not so kind and generous. Believing that death of his predecessor(third mizukage) was result of betrayal,he became merciless toward his own people and brought chaos upon his nation,spreading clouds of terror in sky of kirigalure and began the bloody mist era.He dies after ao finds him alone and breaks obito's genjutsu,which drove him to madness and soon,he dies.

Mei Terumi:(20 years) Perhaps the kindest of all mizukages,she is truly worthy of being called "savior of hidden mist". She ended the bloody mist era and maintained peace within the village for two long decades.
