For all my roleplay partners:

Never hold your muse back. For real. If your muse wants to lash out at mine, or kiss mine, or tell mine a horrible secret, or slam mine against a wall — go for it. Don’t ever feel like I’ll get your reply and judge you or your muse. Your character has specific feelings, instincts, and desires, and if they want to do something, don’t hold them back. I want to roleplay with your muse in their entirety, the whole truth of your character, not a watered-down version. Never feel nervous — just let it happen as it happens, and it’ll all be great.

Oh! I'm glad they turned out good!

Hmmmm,,,, you should find something that makes you happy though. Try things like baking or umm sewing? Maybe not that one, its kinda stressful but find something you like doing in your spare time when you arent needed! Before i got back up and running at a decent capacity i was kinda in that limbo as well and my R&D unit took me out and just hung out with me and it helped, having something to enjoy. Even if you dont get the reaction out of yourself you thought you would of had as long as you enjoy it in some compacity makes it good!

Oh but,,, if you ummm,,, dont want to do anything thats fine,,,,, i wasn't sanitatized fully so i dont really know whats all going on and ummm,,, this could be unwanted advice and im sorry if it is i just want people to be happy no matter who they are

So how I ended up sanitized? Well long story short I wasn’t carful enough during a stealth mission, and obviously being the helpless unarmed octoling I was, I got captured by the other sanitized octos. The rest is pretty self explanatory. They took me to Tartar and the rest is history.

Ren glances up while trying to detangle the blanket from around his feet and freezes at the glint of the knife.

"Rei, are... are you ok? Di.. did something happen?"

Clutching his phone and the blanket together in one hand he clambers his way into his nest pulling the closet door closed behind him as he tries to make himself comfortable amongst the many pillows crowding the space.

Jerking awake at the sound of the door opening Ren tried to scramble to his feet forgeting the mountain of pillows he was until recently sleeping under. After a minute of struggling he makes sense of where he is before sighing and rubbing the sleep from his eyes and trying once again to make his contacts sit right. After fishing around for his phone on the shelves above him he slowly extracts himself from the tangle of blankets he had acquired over his nap and wades himself over to the door.

He pauses remembering what woke him up

"Fuck."

"Coral is out for a few days on work, could it be Rei? No," He says glancing at his phone, "He dosent usually get back in until later when he does go out."

"My dualies are in the other room if I can just get to them before anyone notices I should be ok."

Whispering to himself starting to panic he goes to open the door before falling out face first with a thump.

"FUCK!"

SAD BOI HOURS WITH REN

Ren sighs and pulls a blanket tightly around his shoulders making his way to his closet. Clutching his phone and the blanket together in one hand he clambers his way into his nest pulling the closet door closed behind him as he tries to make himself comfortable amongst the many pillows crowding the space.

Burying himself in layer after layer he feels himself let go and drops facade he put up all day in front of everyone. Coral is out on work and Rei was nowhere to be found. Opening the journal Coral had suggested to him he began to type.

"I can't be alone. When I'm left to myself everything catches up to me and I can't help but think all of this is all some sort of dream and any minute I'm going to wake up back in a lab to tests. Every step feels like im walking on a high wire with no end in sight and only an endless drop awaits me if my thoughts waver for a second."

He pauses

"I... I don't want to bother Gillie or Thead with any of this cause I don’t want them to worry about me anymore than they already do but its just so hard."

"I think about everyone that got left behind in the escape. What could of beens. If we all got out would I of had to do what I did? If not would we of met Gillie, Thead, Nela and the others. What if i hadn't been taken all those years ago? No painful testing, living in ignorance of the pain of living in Octarian society. Would my freedom at the hands on the Inkantation of been the same or would I have fought it tooth and claw to stay where I was..... I guess somethings I will never know...."

He hesitates before saving it feeling better to have wrestled some of his thoughts into order as disjointed as they were. Placing the phone on a shelf somewhere above him he gathers as many blankets as he can reach before trying to sleep the rest of the day away hoping tomorrow will be better.
