In 1861 the British government launched a campaign against the Qur'an, the British burned over 300,000 copies of the Holy Qur'an.

The British historian Thomposon writes in his memoirs:

-From 1864 to 1867, the British government was determined to exterminate all Muslims and Islamic scholars in India. These three years were the most heartbreaking periods in the history of India.

-The British (English) hung 14,000 scholars on the rope, from Delhi to Hyderabad. Scholars wrapped them in pig skins and threw them alive into the fire.

- Their bodies were fastened alive with hot copper rods.

-They forced them to stand on the backs of elephants and tied them around their necks in tall trees, then scared the elephants and the scholars remained hanging.

-Places for hanging were temporarily erected in the courtyard of the Mosque in Lahore, and every day 70 scholars hung them.

Sometimes the colonialists had fun in other ways:

"The scholars put them in a sack and threw them into the Rava River in Lahore, then hit them with volleys of bullets through the sack."

Until 1867 there was no Islamic institution left

They did what they have done they getting punished for wrong doing now by Allah and they didn’t gain nothing but hellfire .

Look at Islam now it is the most growing religion in world.
