Rogue: wants to be hugged and held, is totally touch starved and needs to be cuddled

also Rogue: allows only a very limited number of people to touch me at all, let alone in a slightly intimate way. barely ever allows myself to show emotional weakness around people. gets anxious when someone hugs me for too long.

The words rang hollow in Laura’s ears as she was raised to believe it was not true. There was no talking for her, no nice meals, no shopping trips, no friends. There was just her. She could only ever be alone. So, she just kept her head down and stayed still as if no reply was ever spoken.

        “I mean it, Laura.” She couldn’t even really be sure the girl was listening anymore, but that didn’t stop Rogue from putting it all out there. “You ever need me - hell, you ever even just want me around and I’ll be here. Anyone get you set up with a phone yet?”

Raven was worried about what she was planning to do next, but she couldn’t beat around the bush anymore. She wanted to talk to her as herself, not as another person. “Come with me. I want to show you something” she said, not wanting to do what she was about to do in the open. She led Rogue to a more vacant place on the grounds before turning and facing her. Once she was sure it was safe enough for her, she transformed into the form she gave herself while raising Rogue. “Hello, Rogue.”

        For a moment she was too stunned to say or do anything. Watching the woman before her shift from someone she’d come to care for and trust into a face from her past had been a shock that she wasn’t expecting, though as she stood there she was trying to pick apart their conversation for some sort of sign. A flurry of emotion sped across her expression before anger made it’s way to the front of it all - after all, what better way to protect herself than with rage? “What the hell��is this?!”
