Talia is close to her Father. Every comic, every dialogue, every panel, there's something about their familiar bond that screams love and loyalty.

You'd expect Damian to be the same. Rightfully so. But he isn't. Instead there is a disconnect on Talia and Ra's' characters towards Damian. He doesn't have the same familiar bond that should be there.

Because Talia and Ra's are written so OOC around Damian. They act in ways they would never do. Ra's putting a sword on Damian's throat? You can never imagine him doing so to Talia. Knowing how many times he's stopped himself from ever laying a hand against her.

Allowing her to be free without killing her. Stopping himself before the Lazarus Madness takes over and hurt Talia. Being so concerned with her health that he begs his Mother for help despite the silent war between them. But you tell me he would hurt Damian so badly knowing that in most of his canon history with Talia, he refrains from ever harming her deeply?

Then why is it that Damian does not get the same treatment as Talia? How is it that Ra's cares for Talia but despises Damian in Morrison's influence? Is it because DC wants to make his poc family look evil compared to his white family? Of course it is. Regardless of Ra's being a villain, he does not physically harm Talia. Yet continues to abuse Damian in Morrison's influenced comics.

Fans of DC do not care of the inconsistencies of Ra's and Talia's characters. They only care about giving Damian a tragic story. I do not take seriously those people. Because despite wanting representation for physically abused children, it comes at the cost of racism. And that is something unforgivable.

Morrison wrote it so. So OOC. So the disconnect is massive. Robin 2021 have us a taste of Damian's character around a barely non OOC Talia and Ra's. Those panels where Damian is training with Ra's? Beliavable. In character. You expect Ra's to do the same with Talia. Ra's stating how much they've hurt Damian? A direct commentary on Morrison's writting. How OOC it is for them to do so.

Everytime Batman and Red Hood see each other they end up shouting across the streets of Gotham emotional shit like JUST COME HOME SON and YOU'RE NOT IN CHARGE OF ME ANYMORE OLD MAN and it's just Not Subtle in the slightest
