What Can Happen in a Second
Catching a whiff of a fresh pink rose A kiss exchanged between lovers A wagging-tailed puppy licks your cheek A baby drops its cereal and milk Tears begin to well in your eyes when you catch a glimpse of the person you love on your wedding day Taking a snapshot of the pinky-orange sunrise

I’ve been logging everything i eat for 10 years
And i realized- i want to stop.
My brain however has been trained to think that i can’t eat unless i log it so it is a bit weird and gives me a bit of a headache to think that i can eat without logging it on a food diary.
It sounds so freeing and i am so excited to break this habit! But also a bit nervous- what is eating like without over calculating and logging it?!
I have been “over” and “free from” my ED for almost 8 years now- but this is one of the final things i do that is part of my ED behavior and it just- i am finally ready to let it go.
I could cry.

Awaken your mind to see the world in all of its colour, for there is far more that exists beyond the monochrome worlds that we often construct.

Mental pain is less dramatic than physical pain, but it is more common and also more hard to bear. The frequent attempt to conceal mental pain increases the burden: it is easier to say “My tooth is aching” than to say “My heart is broken.”
C.S. Lewis (via purplebuddhaquotes)

nostalgia; sometimes it keeps you company, sometimes it keeps you lonely. it makes you high and it makes you drunk on memories but if you could go back would you? some things are better left where you left them nothing feels the same when you pick it up again and that’s what nostalgia is; it doesn’t feel the same anymore.
