And finally - my 2024 in art 😊

I don't believe in arriving anywhere with art = you will always grow and change; but I am proud of where I'm at. Entirely self motivated and a lot of struggle later, I can now make things that I am genuinely pleased with.

Thank you to everyone who supported me in any small way this past year (and before that, ofc). I appreciate the encouragement *so much* ❤️ though to be 100% honest, I'd still be doing it without it.

I've been listening to Epic the musical (10/10 would recommend) on repeat for months now and somehow it's culminated in me revisiting AC Odyssey and getting my grubby little hands on any book about ancient Greece that I can. Hyperfixation at its best ya'll!

I haven't been able to get this concept out of my head after replaying the game. It's based (very, very loosly) on a fic I read some time ago where Kassandra raises Alexios (I think its: If It Began Differently by Madoking on ao3).

The story I've been working on is almost entirely a different thing but the general premise is the same just in reverse, with Alexios raising Kassandra (and also Phoibe when her parents die). I just love exhausted, overprotective dad Alexios trying to keep his dumbass children out of trouble. Mentally trying to work out how a 9 year old is meant to raise an infant and work around the main plot has been an entertaining exercise.

I've been doing more writing than anything for this, but here are some of the concepts I've been working out! I've tried to keep the designs close to cannon for the most part, but there were some necessary changes to make.

Alright, I’m a bit early but, I finished these doodles and I wanted to post them because I’m inpatient. Happy (early) Valentine’s Day! I thought I’d just draw some couples (or just two characters) from Odyssey. I also couldn’t find very many couples so I even went into my think tank and remembered Drakon and Melanippos even though they are extreme background characters. Ummm... don’t @ me for the Cleon and Aristophanes one... or the Socrates and Al one.... we’re just not gonna talk about it. Knowing me I probably forgot a couple. Anyways, I always type too much, I hope you like it!

Modern AU odyssey characters! Got the want to do this a couple days ago and I went on the grind today to draw all of these. Actually pretty happy with how they turned out :). Nothing too much to say so I hope you like it!!
