Grease Live (2016)
This was just as amazing as i thought it was gonna be ! I loved the old version, but this one was just as good if not even better in some parts. I had to wait a while to see it because i wasn’t home when they first aired it, but now i’m obsessed ! It’s not actually a movie, it’s kind of a Broadway show, but it was fantastic.
It begins with Sandy (Julianne Hough) and Danny Zuko (Aaron Tveit) on the beach saying their goodbyes after summer was over. They shared a wonderful connection during those three months, but now they had to get back to reality. He told her that he’s going to boarding school and she was gonna move back home to Utah. Then we see Danny at school with friends, we get to meet the Pink Ladies with their leader Rizzo. Sandy actually comes too late to see everyone so for the moment they had no idea that they were in the same school. I’m sure you guys might know the whole story, but that’s all i’m gonna say for now.
The cast was amazing ! I have no good words to describe it ! Everything was perfect ! Julianne was very believable as Sandy, Aaron was as handsome as always and Vanessa Hudgens was my favorite ! The DVD is gonna come out in March, but i think you’ll find it to watch it somewhere.
