Would you, as an antiracist nonblack person, routinely ignore posts by a black blogger about antiblackness, when explicitly called upon to amplify an idea or a plea? Maybe you would*, but I imagine your gut response is "no"

At the risk of comparing one struggle to another, why is it that posts about antisemitism as a real racism never breach jumblr containment. The only posts I see about antisemitism that have tens of thousands of notes are ones older than 10/7. Why is it that you all are so uncomfortable putting "i do not condone antisemitism" onto your followers' dashes. I truly think on some level far fewer of you than I should hope are willing to publically defend us with your chests. If you reblog other PSAs and other call-ins regarding bigotry--queer issues, intersex issues, disability, racial bigotries of all kinds, and yes, even palestine--and you allow your unwillingness to condemn antisemitic violence as it escalates on your doorstep, I think that belies your hypocrisy and cowardice. I don't believe you are the antiracist you tell yourself you are. You allow your xenophobia and grandfather's mistrust of jews to sway you, just as your forebears did. You're just like your ancestors who looked the other way when our neighborhoods and villages were razed and raped. If you, in your own way, stand up for all peoples and causes except ours--that is, the genuine question of our safety, in good faith--you are a hypocrite. I don't know why telling you that seems to matter to me as much as it does, but you're a coward and a hypocrite. You're a fair-weather ally, and at first suggestion that jews might be treacherous, you remember your ancestors' suspicion. You wear it well. Fits you like a glove. They called us zionist baby killers when they burned our villages in the pale, and you say it in instagram comment sections.

Do better. Stand up for jews in your communities, if you even have any jews you're in community with. Stand up for jews in real life and online. If all you can muster is a goddamn reblog, then start fucking amplifying jewish voices actually speaking about jewish life, and not just jews you think it's okay to tokenize (the flavor of antizionist jew who participates in ZERO jewish life outside of being a jew for palestine).
