I’m intrigued by your Robb Stark=Regina George post, please explain it.
Okay, so the deal is that the characters in Robb's plotline fit almost scarily well into the story of mean girls
So, to start, Cady (Roose bolton) hatches a plan with janis ian (walder frey) and damion (tywin lannister) to "mess us (end) regina George's (robb's) life" because they hate her and the way that she runs things. Aaron Samuels (roslin frey) , who regina is supposed to be with, but she really likes shane omen (jeyne westerling) and goes behind his back, which becomes one of the main things in taking away her power. Through an elaborate plan they turn her best friends (banners) gretchen (theon) and karen (lord karstark) against her, maker her gain weight (cut his head off), and destroy his army of skanks (army of skanks)
To get into direct specifics:
Robb stark is Regina George (ruler to be dethroned)
Roose bolton is Cady haron (pretending to be his ally while undermining him)
Theon greyjoy is gretchen wieners (the betrayal breaks robb)
Karen smith is lord karstark (another massive betrayal that leads to his downfall)
Walder frey and tywin lannister are janis ian and damion (the planners)
Shane omen is jeyne westerling/ talisa (loses him "high status arm candy")
Aaron samuals is roslin frey (didnt really have much to do with the plan, was a pawn, on both ends, was one of the major reasons for downfall)
Kevin G is ramsay
Glenn coco is jaime Lannister
Ms norbury is edmure (reputation is damaged by the plan)
Principal duvall is the blackfish (i did NOT leave the south side for this)
Coach car is littlefinger
Jason is balon greyjoy (not good enough for gretchen)
The freshmen are aryas crew and pod (dont really have anything to do with the plot but theyre there)
Rotc guys and the king's guard
The jv are vargo hout and the bois
The Asian nerds are the bastards boys
The cool asians is Sansa's crew
The sports girls are dany's crew (also have nothing to do with anything, we just enjoyed casting)
Unfriendly black hotties are the sand snakes
The girls who eat their feelings are Robert baratheon, fat lord manderly, willis tyrell, and varys
The girls who dont eat anything are the people of kings landing
The desperate wannabes are renly Baratheon and his followers
The burnouts are the golden company (because joncon)
The sexually active band geeks are the night's watch
Also, robb can still wear regina's R necklace

so in conclusion:

There were a lot of things I disliked about the GOT ending (or more specifically how it got to the ending), including parts of Sansa’s story. However, one thing that will always make me so happy is the fact that Sansa stans who wanted Sansa in a position of power (and didn’t want her with men who were attracted to her when she was a child) were so validated. Like we were told for years that we didn’t understand her character arc or personality and we were projecting onto her. And that “real” Sansa fans understand that she is destined to end up with a man who assaulted her, in a position of no influence, in order to repent for being an 11 year old girl. Yet we were right, and all the people who told us we didn’t understand Sansa’s character or journey were wrong. That really just brings a smile to my face.

anyway in 2020, let’s all stop using that ugly “i’m a slow learner, it’s true, but i learn” quote for sansa content. it comes from a place of faux empowerment in which d&d viewed sansa’s suffering at the hands of evil predatory men and corrupt “guardians” as stupidity. she “learned” how to sass and unflinchingly execute people because d&d thought that was somehow better than the amazing and wholly active character she already was. she “learned” how to appreciate her “good” abuser tyrion—her political jailer who apparently would have been a great husband had she not escaped being objectified and manipulated as a child bride in king’s landing. we don’t need to glorify that misogynistic and nonsensical plot line by continuing to commemorate this quote

She had played the dutiful daughter, the blushing bride, the pliant wife. She had suffered Robert’s drunken groping, Jaime’s jealousy, Renly’s mockery, Varys with his titters, Stannis endlessly grinding his teeth. She had contended with Jon Arryn, Ned Stark, and her vile, treacherous, murderous dwarf brother, all the while promising herself that one day it would be her turn.
make me choose: @rhaenys-martell-targaryen asked ashara dayne or cersei lannister

Quick note: I notice a lot of people criticizing Sansa for making the North independent again because “all the food is in the Reach!” etc. Let me take this opportunity to gently remind you that separate nations are 100% able to trade with each other and there is no reason whatsoever two nations could not do so unless explicitly forbidden by their governments. So yes, the North still has food and no, they will not all starve to death because of Sansa. Thanks for coming to my TED talk

Hi, I just wanted to ask you a question about game of thrones. I was wondering what you thought about Sansa's ending. Did you like it? I know a lot of Sansa fans were disappointed because she was handed the throne by bran, and ultimately none of her actions led to her earning it. I expected this ending, but I would have liked it more if she had earned it. Privileged girl becomes more privileged doesn't really sit well with me.I really am not trying to antagonize, I'm just genuinely curious.
You ever have a show (or a book or movie or comic, etc) that you’re super invested in at the time, but after its over, you look back and wonder why the hell you cared so much about such a bad story?
That’s my relationship with Gamo of Thrones.
It had been years since I properly enjoyed it, and even those early seasons, I look back on and cringe at myself for liking them as much as I did. Septa Unella follows me ringing her damn bell and shouting “Shame!”
That being said, as horrible as that finale was, as shitty as that entire final season was, Sansa’s ending was the only one I actually enjoyed. And I’d be careful throwing around words like “privileged” in regards to any character in GoT, especially in an attempt to demean their success or accomplishments, because with the exception of maybe two characters, everyone on that show came from or held a place of power or privilege. This whole story wasn’t about the common folk rising up to overthrow the monarchy and the feudal system that oppressed them for centuries, if not millennia (show probably would have been better if it had.) No, this show was about a bunch of powerful people trying to one-up one another and become the MOST powerful.
And the throne to the North wasn’t just handed to her. She earned it. Yes, she came from a place and position that allowed her to claim the throne much easier, because humans are a species of habit, but don’t diminish all of her sacrifices and accomplishments on her journey there. Northern independence has been what Sansa was fighting for since the Battle of the Bastards. While they men gave the throne to Jon (because he had a cock) she was the real power there. Jon was a great warrior but was a disaster politically, giving away the throne almost at the first chance he got when that weird romance between him and Dany happened off screen.
So, in conclusion, yes, I liked Sansa’s ending, because hers was the only one that made any sense after all the build-up we had for those full eight seasons.
