ALL the meds permissable on the various packets (this sounds like i lot it's just ibuprofen and ........ .#............ paracetamol i still don't remember the US version of it by heart - just those two together in their max doses and i am Mostly#hm. mostly almost sleepy. Almost sleepy now. i am going to give it another hour of heated blanket and see if i can get to sleep)#um. i lost where i was bc i was thinking about. pain meds. and wondering if they were working. uhhhhhh#oh#i like my hair and it is nice to be able to pat it and focus on the way it shloops. meditative almost#i miss the doc#i am sleepy#that's it goodnight sldjflskj#love u love u#if you have not patted your hair after a shower before. i recommend it it is nice

#it increases its attractiveness to me in general because i associate stories told by queer people as more likely to have the nuance that i#usually look for in narratives but also. i don't#hm#that is just a mild thing that i appreciate and is not something i explicitly seek out#and it's - 'it's queer!' is - certainly not a recommendation that would make me leap on something it is something that would mildly#increase the likelihood that it would be on my radar in a way i might eventually watch it#but at the same time. there are far more important things and the fact that a piece of media is 'queer'#(whether that's writers or characters) is not going to make me go looking for it in and of itself.#(the writers are more important to me than the characters but often that's not something i have to distinguish between)#(bc queer writers often write queer stories)#idk#hand waves hand waves#am queer (very generic hand wave) and am not automatically affiliated with everything that happens to also be queer.#but i might run my eye over something that has elements that already suggest i'll probably like it AND it's queer#if it's got things i probably will already like AND it's queer. then those things are probably told/shared in a way that i will enjoy?#it. depends on. the media#and the fact sth is queer has very little. bearing of its OWN weight on whether i watch/read.#but it might Enhance existing weights of other elements

RED RIDING: THE YEAR OF OUR LORD 1974
I decided to make a fancover for Nineteen Seventy-Four inspired by the film adaptation. I'm biased toward BJ, he's my favorite character in the series, but since he's the red thread that ties the stories together, I thought that was a good enough excuse to make him the primary focus. I looked at a lot of posters from the '70s and had tons of fun playing around in this style!

today i was speaking to my colleague abt a photo my sister's boyfriend took of the two of them together on my request (i asked him to take a nice photo bc it's her bday and I want to frame it for them both, but he took a selfie at a concrete bus station with her - and i'm still going to frame it for both of them) and how i hope i can ask them to let me take a pic of them on a beach or in a forest or whatever, as well, when I go over to see my sister for her bday, and my colleague said "maybe just take some candids even" and I was like ???? yeah, but me and my sibs sort of have this rule we don't take photos without telling each other in advance though, and she said "yeah but you could take a photo of Something Else and maybe they're just In The PIcture by 'mistake'?" and i. have never before been so absolutely floored by. how very different conceptualisations of consent can be. wow
