I’m thinking since this is an Endeavor chapter, the flash forward of all the kids as adults is probably not actually a real thing. It’s weird to me that all the kids got bigger but their costumes and hairstyles remained almost completely unchanged. Since we don’t have the dialogue yet, I’m guessing that Endeavor is about to sacrifice himself to try and take out AFO. He’s imagining Todoroki becoming the man he always wanted him to be, knowing that he’ll never be able to watch him grow into that man, and he’s glad that his son is surrounded by people that will support and uplift him, instead of how Endeavor chose to ignore his personal relationships in pursuit of his goal.

Idk, I’m still not happy with the conclusion of the Dabi/Shoto fight, but I do like the idea that Endeavor is robbed of seeing his son become a real hero since that’s all he ever wanted and because Endeavor is a trick ass bitch who doesn’t deserve anything, especially seeing his son succeed.

Also if this is the only time skip we ever get and Hori doesn’t do the Shippuden style sequel that I’ve been begging for I’m gonna be PISSED. DONT TEASE ME THIS WAY HORI
