💎 𝗡𝗲𝘄 𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗺! Cleaning Cube Wondrous item, common ___

This Tiny, sentient piece of an enchanted gelatinous cube is harmlessly soapy, instead of acidic, and enjoys cleaning the surfaces it travels across. When found, the "cleaning cube" is a dehydrated, 2-inch cube. While dehydrated, the cube is inanimate and its weight is negligible. You can place the dehydrated cube in 1 or more gallons of water as an action, causing it to animate and grow in size to become a 1-foot cube that weighs 6 pounds. The rehydrated cube moves slowly while animated in this way, methodically cleaning objects and surfaces it comes into contact with. The cube remains hydrated for up to 8 hours, but can be squeezed as an action (as if it were a sponge) to dehydrate it again early.

The "cleaning cube" is considered a magical object and is not a creature. It has a speed of 1 foot and can climb difficult surfaces, including upside down on ceilings, without needing to make an ability check. It has AC 10, 10 hit points, and has resistance to all damage. The cube dehydrates when it drops to 0 hit points, but regains all its hit points when hydrated again.

𝙎𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙞𝙚𝙣𝙘𝙚. The "cleaning cube" is a sentient unaligned item with an Intelligence of 1, a Wisdom of 6, and a Charisma of 1. It has hearing and blindsight out to a range of 60 feet. It can’t speak or read, but obeys your commands as best as it can understand them.

𝙋𝙚𝙧𝙨𝙤𝙣𝙖𝙡𝙞𝙩𝙮. The "cleaning cube" is happiest finding and dissolving dirt and other grime, and enjoys the feeling of moving across clean, polished surfaces. It doesn’t concern itself with combat, preferring to continue its cleaning instead of involving itself in confrontation. If the cube finds a stray coin, gemstone, or other similar small item out of place while it cleans, it will absorb and clean the item until it’s removed by a creature as an action or until it becomes dehydrated once again. ___

Today I saw a pic of a baby cowbird next 2 its nest "parent" and it was so much bigger!!!!! Which is the sort of thing that gets normal people upset about the injustice of nest parasitism but makes *me* worry if baby cowbirds get bird dysmorphia

this is such a small thing perhaps but there's a line in You'll see that i think really highlights the difference between benny and Mark-Roger

"You wanna produce films and write songs? You need somewhere to do it"

first of all produce films is such a benny thing to say. Mark isn't a producer - he's a filmmaker. he makes films. He creates. those are the verbs he uses for what he does. the word produce in this context makes it sound more commercial - which is what benny's understanding of art is. it's making a product in exchange for profit.

and then what got me thinking about this in the first place: write songs. doesn't sound wrong at first, does it? isn't that exactly what Roger wants to do? ...well except for the fact that it's explicitly not. he wants to write one song. one last song before he dies. of course, benny believes in quantity over quality, since he's a capitalist. he expects Roger to just churn out song after song, with no regards to wether they have any meaning.

benny is not an artist. we don't find out in the musical itself what exactly he did before he got rich, but according to Jonathan Larson, he went to film school to be a producer. he was always like this. he's not an artist and he doesn't understand art. he understands money and he sees art as something that can create money and he doesn't understand why Mark and Roger disagree

I recently had surgery, and at the time I came home, I had both my cat and one of my grandma's cats staying with me.

- Within hours of surgery, I wake up from a nap to my cat gently sniffing at my incisions with great alarm.

- I was not allowed to shower the first day after surgery, and the cats, seeing that The Large Cat is not observing its cleaning ritual, decided I must be gravely disabled and compensated by licking all the exposed skin on my arms, face, and legs.

- I currently have to sleep with a pillow over my abdomen because my cat insists on climbing on top of me and covering my incisions with her body while I sleep (which is very sweet but not exactly comfortable without the pillow). She also lays across me facing my bedroom door, presumably on guard for attackers who may try to harm me while I'm sleeping and injured.

it's highly possible and likely that I made a mistake here; I am not an expert on religions and I looked globally instead of Australia-specific so there's a good chance that the woman I guessed to be Oshun, the woman in white, or maybe even someone else is actually a figure from an Aboriginal religion -- or something else! I'm not Australian and didn't really know where to look to see if I could find them because I was going based only on clothing, so very easy to miss. if anyone has an idea of who others are and/or a correction for me pleassse tell me because it would be very fun. thank you.
