Yo the owl house pilot was actually so good but I'm also happy with the one we got? I wouldn't have minded either honestly. Eda being a secret spy for the emperor cause of some deal and amity showing up in ep 1 were interesting choices.

And dimensional travel being a thing was also a surprise, if they had gone in this route I wonder what stakes would have actually kept Luz here. Also i kinda liked the pilot design of the owl house more than what we got, it seems a bit more cozy looking. All in all both were good

This episode was honestly such a good look into Laios. This is the man who dove head first back into a dungeon to save his sister and just because he actually found a sustainable way to travel through the dungeon without starving himself, he's being accused of not taking things seriously??
