Headcanon that Dani and VR-LA make up the craziest things when anyone asks them what kind of things they did before Finbar joined the crew. Some things they say say are so outlandish they have to be false, but some things are just realistic enough that Finbar is scared they might be true. And they are so in tune with each other too. One of them will start telling an absolutely bonkers story that has to be made up and the other will just agree and add in things so well it really seems like they’re remembering a true event. They even sometimes make references to crazy things that happened before unprompted, and Kyana and Finbar are very concerned. Any time someone asks if they are lying they, without fail respond with “idk what you’re talking about, I’ve never lied in my life” Kyana and Finbar have no idea this whole thing is a joke or not

My hot take is that alien/monsterfuckers need to get more creative with their genitalia concepts. It’s 2025 and we’re still stuck on tentacles and barbed dicks; meanwhile, some real-life Earth sexual anatomy includes corkscrew-shaped duck penises, snails that shoot aphrodisiac projectiles into each other’s flesh in a literal battle for dominance and then also have sex organs on their necks, insect phalluses with clasping and scraping mechanisms, etc. Let’s take inspiration from nature and then go even further. Let’s progress beyond the dichotomy of “hole” and “thing that goes in hole.” Give me aliens with interlocking sex organs that snap into place. Give me reproductive processes that involve one monster ingesting a piece of the other. Give me intersex species (or individuals) that aren’t just “they have a standard-issue penis and vagina at the same time.” Give me strange mechanical gear genitalia like a sexual Rube-Goldberg machine. Give me incomprehensible entanglement with eldritch beings. Give me airborne or bloodborne gametes transmitted like diseases. Give me absurd biology!!!!! Brainstorm some non-penetrative reproductive systems and pleasure centers. I believe in you
