ingredients to be happy:
- something to look forward to. it doesn’t have to be a big thing. it can be going into your soft bed, wearing warm pajamas after a nice shower, or making yourself a cute breakfast. this can also be a goal you really want to achieve, like getting better at drawing or getting the courage to talk to new people.
- someone to love. this can be many people;your friends, your family, your pet, your favorite singer or your crush. try to spend more time talking to or including them in your life somehow. although solitude is nice it’s really good for mental health to spend time with people u love.
- something to love. this can be a hobby you like doing, whether it’s making art, coding, going to coffee shops, baking cakes or listening to music. do more of these things in your day, and find a reason to wake up excited in the morning.
- self love and self acceptance. this means forgiving your mistakes, learning to laugh at embarrassing things, not dwelling on the past, and stopping bad thoughts about yourself. this is self care; dancing alone in your room, going for walks, listening to happy songs, and taking care of yourself like going to bed earlier and drinking enough water. remember you’re a beautiful human who deserves happiness and an amazing life. :)

what to keep in your pencil case!
obviously, everybody has different needs and no two pencil cases are exactly the same. these are just the things that i keep in mine, so that i feel prepared to study and do work anywhere i go.
writing utensils:
two black felt-tip pens (for when i want my writing to be neat)
a set of color gel pens from muji (for when i need to write quickly or color code my notes)
a sharpie (for headings, labels, and art projects)
two pencils (the normal kind, i’m not a fan of mechanical ones)
a white-out pen (essential, because i do most of my writing in pen)
these pencil highlighters (great for annotating readings, easy to adjust how darkly you highlight and they never run through the paper)
school supplies:
a mini stapler (from muji, super handy for last-minute projects)
foldable scissors (for art projects or clothing tags)
a compass (for math class and drawing perfect circles)
pencil sharpener and eraser (in case the pencils run out)
usb drive (to back up school projects)
post-it notes (for taking notes and annotating readings)
a triangular ruler (for straight lines and right angles)
and other things:
lip balm or vaseline (take care of your skin!)
mini chopsticks (in case i forget utensils for lunch)
a tide to-go stick (for fashion emergencies)
my sister likes to keep mint gum in hers, because it helps her focus.
what do y’all keep in your pencil cases? anything i missed?

Joyeuse Fête du Travail to everyone!
Here is my May layout in my brand new bullet journal! I realize that my habit tracker is off, I forgot 10, and 20 when writing them out so I’m two days short, but I’ll find a way to fix it eventually, it doesn’t bother me much.
The theme is inspired by Pypah’s art on youtube! I’ve been wanting to make a cherry blossom theme for a while but never had the right color for it.
I flew this morning, and that was nice, then I got back, ate some leftover pizza that my dad made, inked this in and finished my last homework assignment for aviation safety. Then i took my American Literature final! Which was just an in class essay so I’m sure I did fine.
I’m flying again tomorrow which is fun, looking forward to that
I hope everyone has a great evening and I will see you tomorrow!

hey guys!!!
so this entire past month has been extremely, extremely stressful for me because i had so many exams and i only realised how hideously unprepared i was for them on the day before the exam, which was really really awful. so in the middle of september i created a studyblr to keep myself motivated + get some helpful tips from the studyblr community on how to go abt studying for tests. the results proved to be super helpful and ive resolved to keep running this blog for as long as i can, because it really helps me stay motivated and i’ve already learned so many things from the community, despite the fact that i’ve only been here for around a month.
but anyways, i decided to create this masterpost in order to help others stay motivated + keep studying not only well but also properly i.e. not necessarily studying for exams but life in general, if that makes sense.
