SUN 🌞

this is the planet of self! this represents who you are at your core, your fundamental character. your ego, personality, spirit, identity. it can rule over royalty, higher office, health and well-being. it can also represent one’s authority, ability to lead, and one’s essence. there is a strong sense of will-power in the sun. astro library recommends to think of your birth chart as a painting of you, and the sun sign represents the first broad strokes you make to your painting.

MOON 🌑

this planet represents your emotional nature. this is the side of you that you might not show to others, or at least TRY not to. it represents how your instinctual reactions are emotionally, any mood swings, what you need to feel emotionally satisfied. it is your inner core, it can bring about feelings of jealousy, fear, secret fantasies. it can also be a symbol for femininity, and fertility, relationship with motherly figures, and relationship with women! the house position your moon is located in tends to be where you’re the most emotional, or go through changes often.

this is the planet of communication + intelligence! it reflects in you the way you think about, speak about, understand any information being brought to you. it represents perception, reason, memory, ability to write, analyze, and communicate. also deals with the nervous system in the physical body, as well as any short distance endeavors, and transportation!

the planet of love, beauty, pleasure! it can represent how you display affection, and what defines beauty to you. learning about what zodiac sign your venus is in, can help you understand these things, as well as your approach towards money, possessions, values, etc. this planet represents feminine energy.

MARS 💥

the planet governing ambition, authority, karma! it deals with things such as hierarchy, responsibility, endurance (psychically and emotionally), structure, boundaries, karma. where saturn is located in your birth chart can indicate where you may feel shame in your life, or have felt shame. saturn is known to be karmic, and it usually will be in a house+sign where you have lessons to learn. by learning these lessons, it can lead to great success in your life. it can also give clues to a career you may pursue, or find comes naturally to you.

the planet governing technology, awakening, rebellion! it rules over one’s originality, inventions, computers/technology, future events. astro library suggests to think about uranus as ‘the unconscious urge to become aware of your true inner individuality.’ deals with suddenness, innovations, and helps speed up the mind.

NEPTUNE 🦄

WHAT IS A NATAL BIRTH CHART?

- a natal chart is a map of where all of the planets were located in the sky at the exact time of your birth.

HOW DO I GET MY NATAL BIRTH CHART?

- easy! but, you need 4 things.

1. date of birth

2. time of birth (usually on birth certificate)

3. place of birth (city + state)
